It's now the Monday after Wrestlemania and Becky is still on top of the company. She defeated Liv Morgan on night 1 for the Raw Woman's championship and Sasha Banks on night 2 for the Smackdown Woman's championship. Eric has been ringside for all of her matches since she got both belts, never interfering but always there in case something went down, even stopped a couple of gang ups that were going to happen to Becky and he would carry her out of the ring and to the back
The couple has been super busy with Wrestlemania coming up but now that it's over it'll be nice to take a break from the crazy schedule that they had to be on. Luckily they were together for that craziness so that always makes it better.
They arrive at the arena for Raw and Triple H and Stephanie are standing outside of their locker room with someone that Eric recognized but had never actually met
Hunter: "Becky, Eric, good to see the both of you" he says as they shake hands "Eric, i don't think you have met him yet. Paul Heyman"
Eric: "I recognize you when i used to watch back in the day. It's great to meet you
Paul: "The pleasure is mine sir, you have taken your role on TV very seriously. You have to have a special something for the fans to love you and you have never even spoken a word on the microphone"
Stephanie: "Shall we step inside? We need to discuss the angle for tonight" she says as she opens the door and everyone walks in. Eric puts their bags to the side and they sit down on the couch as they pitch the idea
After their pitch, Becky and Eric look at each other and for once, neither of them can read what the other is thinking. The higher ups notice then and Hunter decides to speak up
Hunter: "If you need a couple minutes we can wait outside"
Both Becky and Eric: "Yeah if you don't mind" they say exactly the same thing at exactly the same time.
They walk out of the door and as soon as the door closes they look at each other again
Eric: "Alright what are you thinking?"
Becky: "Well on one hand, it's a great idea and a great storyline. On the other hand, this isn't going to be a walk in the park for you. I mean he is no joke"
Eric: "I'm feeling the same way. I know what he is capable of, but then again it's just a storyline right? It can't be that bad"
Becky: "So you wanna do it? I'm not going to lie to you, it's going to be a lot"
Eric: "I got you right? Nothing is too much" he says getting up and going to the door "We're in" he says
Paul: "Great, I'll go let him know" Paul says shaking his hand and walking off
Hunter: "We are going to double your TV salary to equal out for what you are going to do" he says shaking his hand as well "This is going to be great, for the both of you" he says looking in at Becky as she is going through her bag getting her ring at to change before going to makeup
Eric: "This is going to pay for the wedding and the honeymoon" he says with a smirk as he closes the door and heads over to Becky, gently kissing her on the neck as she gets ready
*Start of the show*
Becky and Eric walk out and the crowd goes crazy for the couple as Becky shows off her new fit
