Chapter 25-Telling the boys about Alex!

Hey sorry I didn't get a chance to update over the weekend. I was so busy! I will be really busy this week as well. My husband is having surgery on his back so I might not be able to update as much this week. I will try! Thanks for all the support and love!

Chapter 25

Declan's POV

Its been a week since I had my talk with Heathers brother Luke. He seems like a good guy. His family has been hanging around on the weekends. Which makes Heather happy. I told him I would help him out with the money he owes his mother so he didn't have to work at the club. He didn't want to at first but I told him it would make Heather happy and they would get to spend more time together. So he finally took me up on my offer. He told me he would pay me back and I told him not to worry.

The wedding is a 2 weeks away. ALex's trial starts tomorrow. Heather has been worried about it. She has been thinking about telling the boys. I told her I would support whatever she decides. Luke, Kate and Taylor all said to tell them. That way when they are older they wont get mad at her for keeping it from them. So we are taking the boys out tonight and telling them the truth. Heather said she needed me there for support.

We were driving to the boys favorite pizza place. They wanted to go there because they wanted to play the games. I took Heathers hand in mine and gave it a gentle squeeze. She looked to nervous. I wanted to just kiss all the problems away. She looked at me and gave me a small smile. I smiled back.

"I love you" I told her.

"Declan did you just tell my mommy that you loved her?" Jessie asked from the back seat.

"Um...yes I did Jessie"

"Does that mean you are going to marry her and become our daddy like Jake said?" Heather looked like she was about to say something so i quickly stated.

"Jessie and Jake I am going to let you both in on my little secret but you can't tell your mommy" I winked at Heather. "You see boys I do love your mommy so much that if she were to say lets get married right now I would do it. I want us to be family but your mommy and I are taking things slow that way everyone is sure that this is what they want. Including you two. Your opinion means a lot to me too. I love all three of you so much that I would do anything for you"

"So if mommy said she wanted to marry you, you would?" Jake said.

"Again yes, but I think your mommy deserves a proper proposal don't you?" They both nodded.

"So mommy when are you going to agree to marry Daddy?" Jessie asked as I smirked and Heather choked.

"Jessie um how do I put this"

"Mommy I am not talking about that guy I am talking about Declan. He is our daddy."

"Oh well Declan and I haven't really talked about that. We will see honey right now lets just get threw dinner."

With that the drive was quiet. As soon as we got to the pizza game place the boys were super excited. We got to our table and Heather looked as if she would break at any moment. I took her hand again and squeezed. She looked up and mouthed 'thank you'. The boys were sitting and waiting for the pizza. I gave Heather a look and she nodded.

"Boys your mom and I wanted to talk to you about something. It is really hard on her so please don't get mad OK." The boys looked at me and then at Heather. Jessie came around and sat with her. I went to the other side and took Jake into my lap.

"OK boys you might not understand what I am about to tell you but if you have any questions please ask me. Your father Alex...He is a live...He faked his own death. He is now facing charges of something we will not get into right now. But you know the incident at school...Well it was your father who caused it."
