Chapter 3-That was weird

Chapter 3

When I got the next morning I cursed Sam for making us do more shots. My head was pounding and all I could think about was the way Declan left in such a hurry. Which only caused my head to pound more. I got up and went to the bathroom to do my business. As soon as I was done I went to call Mrs. Nocks to check on my boys when I heard a groaning noise. I turned my head to see Kate laying there on my couch.

"Hey Kate wake up!"

"Five more minutes mom!" Kate groaned. I was about to respond when I heard a phone ring. I looked around and grabbed the phone and answered "Hello"

"Um, I think I have the wrong number" The mans voice said

"Well who are you trying to reach?"

"Kate Colt" The man said

"Oh well you got the right number but she is right now nursing a hangover so if you want to leave a message I will make sure she gets it"

"Is this Heather?" The man asked

"Um, yes who is this?"

"Its Declan, is she at your place?"

"Yes I guess we came here and she decided to pass out on my couch" I said and laughed when I remember what she said when I tried to wake her

"Whats so funny?" Declan asked

"Oh nothing really its just I tried to wake her and she groaned saying five more minutes mom" I laughed again

"That sounds like her"

"Hey why did you leave last night in such a hurry everything OK?"

"Wh-What um I just needed to get out, uh my head was hurting. Hey can you do me a favor?" I swear he hates me

"Yeah sure what is it"

"Could you tell Kate to call me when she gets up?"

"Well she just woke up and my phone is ringing so here she is"

I gave the phone to Kate and answered mine. It was Mrs. Nocks, so I told her I would be there soon to pick up the boys. I got off the phone and saw that Kate was still talked to Declan. She then told him to hold and asked if I could take her home. I of course said that I had to pick up the boys anyways so yes! I just want a quick shower.

After I had my shower we went to pick up the boys first. once we had them we headed to Kate's and Declan's. When we arrived it was a nice house and I mean nice. I heard Jessie in the backseat say something like Its like a mansion! I laughed as Kate did as well.

"Hey y'all want to come in and I will get a shower then we can go get some breakfast?" Kate asked

"Sure hows that sound boys?"

"Food sounds good" Jake said

We walked into the house and Kate told us to make yourselves comfortable in the TV room. She showed us where it was and the boys went and sat down. I looked around when a picture caught my eye. It was four girls and a boy. I was staring at it when I heard someone clear their throat.

Declan's POV

I was just getting out of the shower when I heard Kate say something to someone. Great someone is here and I just wanted to talk to Kate about some things. I got dressed and started my way out to the TV room. I stopped shock at what I saw Jessi and Jake sitting on the couch while Heather was staring at the picture of my sisters and I when we was younger. I cleared my throat and she jumped and turned around.

"Sorry I didn't mean to scare you." She looked me up and down stopping at my chest and that's when it hit me I didn't put my shirt on just my pants.
