The church triumphant
Are souls in heaven
They work for members on earth
And souls in the purgatory
The church militant
Are members on Earth
They pray to saints in heaven for one another
And for souls in purgatory
The church suffering
Are souls in purgatory
They are helped by members on Earth
And saints in heaven
