Part 12

It's quiet on the way to scene and Louis is replaying what happened at Harry and Scott's over and over. He gets butterfly's just thinking about them and what happened.

"All okay?" Jax asks, he notices Louis is quiet

"Yeah sorry, just tired" Louis says with a slight smile

"Yeah, you guys sure don't get a break down here, being on call kind of sucks doesn't it" Jax says

Louis looks at him and chuckles

"Yeah, I'm not a fan of homicide if I'm honest" Louis says

"Yeah, Liam said you work undercover usually don't you" Jax says

"Um yeah, usually, that's what I love"

"So did you switch to homicide?" Jax asks

Louis hesitates

"No, I'm just stuck on homicide for three months" Louis says

"Ahh, did you do something wrong or something?" Jax asks

"Um kind of, I guess" Louis says knowing he's not meant to talk about raids anyone that wasn't involved

"So I get a new partner in 3 months, when you go back to undercover?" Jax asks

"You and me both" Louis says smiling

"Well maybe I'll follow you over" Jax winks and Louis half smiles feeling extremely awkward inside, he doesn't know about partnering with Jax permanently.

They then pull up to a stop sign and slow down to a complete stop. Louis phone beeps and he pulls it out to see he has a message from Harry and Scott

"Thanks for coming over tonight Lou, please make sure you eat something" the message reads

Louis smiles at the message, it's nice that Harry and Scott care and the message makes him feel looked after. He's about to answer back when he looks up and realises that Jax hasn't begun driving again, there are no cars around and Louis wonders why he hasn't gone through the stop sign yet. He looks over and sees Jax looking uneasily at his watch, his hands shaking a little.

"What's wrong?" Louis asks

"Oh...um nothing" Jax says

Louis finds it so weird and is about to reply when Louis notices headlights and before he can register what's happening the car is hit side on, on Louis side.

The car spins out of control,Louis hits his head on the window frame and glass goes all over him as the window shatters, he then blacks out.

When he comes to he sees Jax out of the car talking to someone in the car that hit them, Louis mind is fuzzy but he then see the car taking off.

Jax then turns around and heads towards Louis door

"Lou" he calls as tries the handle but can't get it open. Louis is in a complete daze as he watches Jax rush around to the drivers side and hop in the car,

"Lou, are you okay?" Jax asks sounding worried

"I...." Louis says, he can't seem to put a sentence together

"Stay with me Lou, help is on the way" Jax says trying to reassure Louis

"I....can't...I'm stuck" Louis says drowsy

"I know, The fire brigade is on the way too, just relax" Jax tries

They hear sirens in the distance and Louis knows help is coming

Amy and Sammy arrive first on scene snd swap places with Jax

"Lou, hun, talk to me" Sammy says as she gets in the car
