"Mmmhgh..." Dream groans as a numbness takes over his body. It's still dark. Dark to the point of not knowing if his eyes where open or not. His chest felt empty. It felt as if nothing were within himself. It didn't make him feel lighter; it made him feel heavier than ever. It made him feel like he had to fight against the gravity that wanted to pull him into the earth.

There's still silence, not the deafening kind he'd felt however long ago that was, but an almost eerie, too quiet, silence. It wasn't supposed to be this quiet. It wasn't meant to be like this. Where did the floating sensation go? Where did the light touch of water go? Where had it all gone?

That sweet silence. It was gone. It was replaced with something much worse. That good darkness. It was gone. It too was replaced with something much worse.

He felt like he was suffocating. It wasn't until now when he questioned where he was. It wasn't until now when he realized he couldn't remember a time before he got consumed by the darkness. He couldn't remember....

Remember...

Familiar...

Different...

Strange...

Pink...

Roses...

Tulips...

Purple...

Rubies...

Obsidian...

Blue...

Him...

Her...

Bright. Sudden bright. Sudden light. Sudden noise. Sudden feeling. Sudden pain. Sudden. Sudden everything. Sudden nothing within the everything.

Light behind his closed eyes. Noise beating against his ears. Pain flooding through his empty body.

Blood. Blood flowing through veins. Blood flowing through veins that lit up a fire through his body.
