Chapter 3: Civilization

Jason's P.O.V

I slowly opened my eyes and stretched.

Jason: Man, I needed that good sleep.

I was about to get ip when I noticed a pair of furry paws around me

Jason: What the?

I slowly looked to my left and saw Jenna sleeping next to me soundlessly.

I felt a massive blush appear on my face as she laid there with her arms still wrapped around me.

Jason's thoughts: How long has she been here?

She suddenly started to wake up, slowly opening her amber eyes. When she saw me she sat straight up and fell off the bed.

Jason: You alright?

Jenna: I-I'm sorry, y-you were having a nightmare and I-I hated to see you like that. So I wanted to help and I k-kinda accidentally fell asleep.

I chuckled at her embarrassment and smiled down at her.

Jason: Well I appreciate you trying to comfort me through my nightmares, they do tend to get on my nerves.

I slowly got up and helped up my furry friend, who still was a bit embarrassed.

Jason: So, what's on the agenda for today?

Jenna: Well, I was planning to go hang out with some friends and go to the museum about humans. I'm helping a friend with a project on humans, but I might gotta call it off because I gotta watch over you.

Jason: I don't wanna ruin your plans, why not go on ahead and I'll stay here and wait patiently.

Jenna: But I don't wanna leave you here all alone. It's fine Jason, really.

Jason: Well, there's a third option. It's a bit risky but maybe I can get a disguise and I could come along with you. I too would like to learn about what I've missed, maybe figure out why my mother was murdered.

Jenna: I mean I got some boys clothes that my brother leaves here for when he comes over you can use. It might be a bit big but oughta do the trick.

Jason: Sounds good

Jenna: But first let's get something to eat.

Jason: Agreed.

We both headed into the kitchen, grabbed a quick bite, and then went to the room I was staying in and got some clothes.

Jenna: Try this on.

She tossed me a red hoodie, a wolf mask, a pair of gloves and a pair of pants. I took them into the bathroom and changed really quickly and then came back out.

Jason: Not bad, really cozy compared to the shit I had on previously.

Jenna: Excellent, now let's cover that scent of your's.

She took out some perfume and gave a couple of squirts, and nodded in approval.

Jason: Lavender, nice.

Jenna: This perfume is very potent so you should be good, now let's go.

I followed her to the garage and found a red mustang GT.

Jason: Wow, nice ride.

Jenna: Thanks, my dad gave it to me on my eighteenth birthday before I came here.

Jason: Dang.

We both got in the car and headed into town.

Jason: So can you tell me about your friends? Like should I expect them to come attack me if they knew my identity.
