The group was still walking through the Everfree Forest, and Pico was recapping the events over at the cliff.
Pico: And once Kat and Sarv were saved, whoosh... Me and Boyfriend loop-de-loop [He does a loop-de-loop] around and WHAM! [Crystal looked like that she couldn't care less about what Pico was saying] Caught you right in the nick of time.
Crystal: Yes, Rainbow, I was there, and I'm very grateful, but we gotta- [She sees the manticore, causing the pink kitty to gasp] A manticore!
Manny Roar: [Roars at the group]
Crystal: We've gotta get past him! [Boyfriend was looking concerned while the others went to go fight the manticore]
Sarvente: [As the manticore was about to pounce on Sarv, she kicked it in the face] Take that, you ruffian! [The manticore roars at Sarv] My hair! [She ran away]
Boyfriend: Wait.
Ruv: [He gets on top of the manticore] HA HA! Git along, little dogie.
Boyfriend: Wait.
Ruv: [He's thrown off the manticore] Whoa! All yours, Pico.
Pico: I'm on it.
Boyfriend: Wait! [His hat is blown off by Pico's speed. Pico runs over to the manticore and fastly runs around it]
Pico: [He screamed as the manticore smacked him away]
Crystal: Pico! [She glares at the manticore, and the manticore gets ready to charge at her. THe group (Minus Boyfriend) charge towards the manticore, as the manticore did the same]
Boyfriend: [Steps in between his friends and the manticore] WAIT!!!!! [Everyone stops fighting. Boyfriend looks kindly at the manticore, who roars at him. He walks up to the manticore] Shhh... It's okay. [The manticore shows Boyfriend the thorn that was stuck in his paw] Oh, you poor, poor little baby.
Pico: Little?
Boyfriend: Now this might hurt for just a second. [He pulls the thorn out of the manticore's paw, causing it to roar loudly and grab Boyfriend]
Everyone: Boyfriend! [They all see that the manticore was licking Boyfriend's face]
Boyfriend: [Giggles] Aw you're just a little ol' baby kitty, aren't you? Yes you are, yes you are. [The group takes this oppurtunity to sneak past the manticore]
Crystal: [To Boyfriend] How did you know about the thorn?
Boyfriend: I didn't. Sometimes we all just need to be shown a little kindness. [Crystal smiled as she continued on her way, unaware that Dusk Darking's mist was back]
