Unang Bahagi

"Hey! Go back to the place where you are, you dirt!," Kevin the bully said and he spit out his saliva on me.

Matapos nila akong pagtripan at bugbugin hanggang sa gusto nila ay umalis na sila. He and his friends are just have the guts to do that because they're rich and they can do whatever they want.

I spit out the blood on my mouth and slowly got up to approach them. Did they really think I was an easy target? Huh! Hindi ako kagaya ng iba na hindi marunong lumaban.

When I'm already near them, I kick Kevin's back. Muntik na siyang mapasubsob.

"What the hell?!" Napatingin ito sa akin at sinamaan ako ng tingin bago ako sinugod.

Sa pagkakataong ito, hindi ko na hinayaan pang makadampi ang kamao niya sa akin. Mabilis akong nakakailag sa bawat suntok niya dahil syempre black belter ako sa taekwondo at alam ko rin ang judo.

Huminto ito sa kakasugod sa akin nang mapagod. Humarap siya sa mga kaibigan niya at inutusan ang mga ito na pabagsakin ako.

"What are you waiting for?! Kill him! I said kill him!"

Just because he envies me, he's doing this to the point he want me dead but like I said. I'm not an easy target.

Sumugod sila  ng sabay sabay at tila ba ay gusto nga nila akong mapatay. Tsk.

Ngumisi lamang ako and in a matter of minutes, they're all down on the ground groaning in pain.

"Kevin, you really think I'm an easy target huh? Didn't you know I'm an athlete? Tsk."

Tinalikuran ko na sila atsaka ko pinulot ang bag ko. Paika ika ako kung maglakad dahil sa tinamo ko kanina. Inilabas ko ang cellphone ko at tumawag sa emergency hotline para sa kanila.

America. Ayoko na dito.

" Ano ba?! Dahan-dahan naman, XC. Kita na ngang masakit ang mga sugat ko eh," reklamo ko kay XC na siyang gumagamot sa akin. Pinalo niya kang ang balikat ko nang malakas kaya napangiwi ako.

"Hinayaan mo na naman na bugbugin ka?! Baliw kana!," sabi niya at marahas na dinampi ang bulak na may alcohol sa pumutok kong labi kaya patuloy ang pag ngiwi ko.

"XC, gumanti ako pagkatapos."

" Ah, talaga? Gumanti ka? Dapat una pa lang hindi mo na hinayaan na makaisang suntok ang mga yun! Tsk."

I sigh. Mas malala pa ang pinsan kong ito kaysa kay mommy kung manermon noong nabubuhay pa siya.

"Hinahayaan mong mabugbog ka, ano ka talunan? Magagalit pa naman si Tita kapag may ni isang galos ka. Aish!"

Patuloy lang siya sa pag gamot sa mga sugat ko habang nanenermon. Mukha na siyang may anak sa kakasermon niya.

Matapos niyang lagyan ng ointment ang labi ko at iba pang mga sugat, bigla niya na lang akong binatukan.

" What was that for?! "

" Ah, wala lang trip ko lang. Nasanay lang na may binabatukan," sabi nito bago kumaripas ng takbo palabas ng bahay.

"Sino sa atin ngayon ang baliw? Aish!," I murmured to myself.

XC, my cousin and me has maybe similar faith. Both our parents died already at our teenage years and we are both staying at our uncle's gouse.

I sigh before I went inside of my room. I sat on my bed at first before I laid my back on it. I stared at the ceiling for a moment before I opened my cellphone and watch her most recent Vlog.

She always looks happy in her videos. It seems like she's not suffering from any serious condition. I paused the video of her I'm watching and caressed her face on my phone. I was doing that when I saw some flickering scenes on my mind.

"Stanley... I'm so happy that I met you. Those days that I'm with you, those are the moments I wanna treasure for the rest of my life," a girl crying said while holding a picture.

The scene change and I saw a boy crying in front of the sea and it seems like he's waiting for someone.

The scene I'm seeing change once again. I'm seeing a hospital and someone is being transported to the the morgue. I saw that girl again and she's crying even more.

Hindi ko na namalayan na napaluha na rin pala ako. I woke up having an oxygen mask and it seems like I'm in a hospital.

"Stanley! Tito! Stanley is awake!," I heard XC said.

Lumapit sa akin si Tito at chineck ang lagay ko.

"What... happened?," nahihirapan kong sabi.

"You fainted, Stanley. Nakita ka ni XC sa kwarto mo na walang malay. Akala niya natutulog ka lang but when she tried to woke you up, you won't woke up and you have no pulse. She manage to bring your pulse back and bring you here," Uncle said.

"Am I sick?," I asked not looking to Uncle.

"We're going to still run some test and we will find out."

Hindi na ako sumagot at ipinikit na lamang ang mga mata. I was just in my room a moment ago and saw those flickering scenes but now I'm in a hospital. Pakiramdam ko, may sakit ako.

"I want to go back to the Philippines," I suddenly said and looked to Uncle.

He sigh. "If that's what you want but you will go back there when I'm sure that you're fine."

I nodded slowly.

Weeks passed that I'm in a hospital, recovering and Uncle's making sure that I'm fine, I'm finally leaving America.

"Bakit ba pati ikaw babalik din?," I asked XC while we are walking towards the arrival area.

"Eh ikaw? Bakit naisipan mong bumalik? After almost 15 years? Kahina hinala ah. Huwag mo sa akin sabihing namimiss mo mga kamag anak natin dito o itong pilipinas dahil pareho nating alam kung gaano mo kaayaw dito. Tsk. Hindi marunong magmahal ng sariling bansa. "

I glared at her. " I love Philippines. Ikaw nagpapakalat ka nang maling balita. Psh. If I know, you too decided to go back because of a guy. "

" Huh! Parang hindi ka din nagdesisyon na bumalik para sa isang babae ah! Akala mo hindi ko alam? You've been watching Thalia's Vlog. Your first love," sabi niya atsaka tumakbo paalis.

I glared at her. Nakakairita.

Sumunod na rin ako sa kaniya dahil nandoon na ang sundo namin.

Yeah. That woman who made me realize that life is worth fighting for and should never give up, it's my first love. Thalia Stella.
