Riley

"Where is she?" I asked coming down the stairs to see that the only person home was Dad
"I have no idea" He said and I scoffed with a laugh
"And we have to be social without her? What is happening to us?" I asked making him chuckle
"Maybe, maybe we're becoming butterflies" He said laughing as we headed out the front door
"If that's the case, can I stay in the cocoon" I asked about to head back inside
Dad was quick to grab my arm pulling me the rest of the way across the road
"If I have to do this, so do you Riles!" He chuckled knocking on their front door

"Riley! Harry!" Deborah cheered pulling us into hugs one by one before guiding us into the living room where everyone was dotted around the coffee table
I won't lie, it's strange not seeing James dressed up how he usually does, this James seems a bit more relaxed and I don't know, it's nice
"Riley!" Piper squealed pulling me to sit in between her and James
"Hey P" I said hugging her
"Are we ready for game night?" Mario asked coming into the living room
"What on earth do you need whipped cream for?" I asked a little worried

"Pie face!" Piper said clapping, I looked at her a little confused
"You're glad about that?" I asked and she nodded making everyone laugh
"Riley would like to go first?" Mario asked, I looked at him and shook my head
"Not particularly" I replied making everyone laugh
"She'd love to!" Dad said earning a glare from me
"Alright so Riley. You need to roll the dice, whatever that number lands on is how many times you have to turn the dial" Mario said
"We'll then ask you a trivia question and if you get it correct you get to pass it on to the next person without touching the dial. Then the numbers continue to add up until it comes to someone getting it wrong" Deborah continues
"Oh, that sounds way better then just straight up getting whipped cream in the face" I confessed
"The only person who ever really ends up losing is James" Piper said confidently making her brother hit her over the head over her comment

"I got a 5" I said looking at the dice after rolling it
"Oh I really hope you get this wrong sweetie" Dad said as James started filling up the hand with cream
"Are we sure he should be trusted doing that?" I asked making everyone laugh and James put an addition amount of cream on the hand
"How many eyes does a bee have" Deborah asks, I looked around watching everyone's anticipation grow
"What kind of question is that?" James asked making me chuckle
"5?" I asked and she nodded
"One I clearly would have gotten wrong" James then muttered underneath his breath making me chuckle

"okay so Piper with your 3 that means you could have 8 turns if you aren't careful" Mario warned her making her roll her eyes
"Piper, who designed the Sydney Opera house?" Deborah asked
"Oh god, I know this" She said closing her eyes
"Times a ticking Piperrr" James teased
"Oh oh oh" she panicked
"Jorn Utzon?" She asked and Deborah nodded making Piper fist pump the air
"Jame's turn" Mario said completely skipping all of the adults

"RIght so James, if you mess up, that's 9 turns" Dad said making James nod
"Your question is The Hunger Games series was written by what author?" Deborah asking making all of look in his direction
"I don't fucking know!" He groaned
"Language" Deborah laughed
"Take a guess?" Mario suggested
"I don't want Piper to hit me" He whined making us all chuckled
"Then if you forfeit it's 9 turns" I said earning a glare from him
"But but" he whined looking around at everyone

"one" I said turning the dial for hims
"Riley" He warned
"two" I continued
"Riley" he repeated
"Three, Four, Five" I said smirking at him making him only glare harder
"Riley I swear to god if that hits my face" he continued to worry
"Six, Seven, Eight" I replied looking at him through the machine
"Riley" He warned one last time
"Nine" I replied, James closed his eyes instantly before realising it hadn't hit him
"Ten" I laughed watching at the cream hit him square in the face
"Oh fuck off" He said scooping the cream off of his face throwing it at me

"Ah now I remember why we don't play this game anymore" Mario said not looking at all the cream smushed into the carpet
"Hey, it was fun. That's all that matters" Deborah said smiling at both James and I with Cream practically all over our faces
