"So it was that simple?" Eldon asked as the byos and I hung outside at lunch, We were heading to meet the girls soon but first. There was a bigger fish to fry
"I don't know why you haven't just asked her out already" I replied shooting Eldon a look
"How do I know she's even interested" Eldon asked and I looked at West and hunter before looking at Eldon
"She's interested" We all said at the right time. It worked out perfectly.
"But like how do you know?" he questioned
"Easy, I'll ask Ri" I replied making Eldon's face light up like a fucking christmas tree
"I can't believe the untamable has been tamed" Hunter teased making me roll my eyes
"you lot make it sound like a bad thing" I replied as we started walking through the corridors heading to the library
"We are not saying its a bad thing but like it means you can't be looking at other girls" West said
"you can have random make outs at parties" Hunter continued
"You're officially unavailable" West added and I smiled nodding
"First off, I wouldn't want to look at anyone else, secondly I can but it'll be with Riley and thirdly I couldn't ask for anything better" I said making them both make gagging noises as we walked into the library
As I pushed them both we all burst out laughing before turning to find the girls
"Riley I'm telling you it's that one" Giselle said alerting us to their location
"and I'm telling you Giselle, in order for that to work. It can't have that" Riley argued. Whatever this was about, Riley was clearly passionate about it
"Ladies" West cheered as we walked into their study room
I looked over at Riley who look extremely stressed, as I got closer I couldn't help but see her smile as I sat next to her
"hey" I said poking her side to grab her attention, she side eyed me making me poke her again
She sighed putting down her pencil
"Hey" She replied with a smile
I chuckled leaning over to kiss her before hearing Hunter and West rebell again
Of course that didn't stop me, in fact it made me kiss Riley longer while I flipped the duo off
"Now Ladies, what are we stressing over?" I asked looking down at their text book
"Bio" Thalia replied and I pulled a face
"Yeah I'm out" I replied making them chuckle
The girls continued with their debate for a good ten minutes before Thalia agreed with Riley and then Giselle gave in
"Everything good now?" West asked too scared to sit down until he got an answer, all the girls nodded as they started working on separate assignments
"Mmm West, have you finished your part of our Geography project?" Giselle asked, West went wide eyed before scratching the back of his neck
"Uh yeah totally!" West said making everyone laugh this time
"What are we working on now?" Eldon asked sheepishly taking a seat next to Thalia
"College applications" Thalia said and both Giselle and Riley pointed at her signaling they were doing the same
"You three come as a package deal don't you" I teased making Riley roll her eyes glancing at me before turning back to her laptop
"Where are you looking at?" I whispered to her, She chuckled allowing me to wrap my arms around her to get closer. I looked over her shoulder
"Julliard?" I asked and Riley sighed nodded
"I'm not getting my hopes up though" She said and I pouted
"Why not? You could so get in" I encouraged her and she chuckled
"James. Have you seen the people that go there, I'm not their usual type" She said sounding disheartened
"Plus I'm probably better off finding a college closer to home since they've split I doubt a college fund is in the picture" She muttered and I sighed knowing that this whole divorce situation was playing on her mind and I mean I can't blame her, it's not the nicest thing to be going through
"Make me a deal" I asked her making her sit up to turn and look at me
"What's that then" She smirked making me chuckle
"I'm being serious here Ri" I replied making her chuckle before trying to make a straight face
"Okay okay" she said finally calming down
"Apply, send off whatever you need to and then at least you can say you've tried?" I offered she sighed looking back at the website before biting her lip again
"Go on Ri, shoot for the stars" I smiled making her look at me and nod
"I'll apply, whatever happens" She started
"Happens" I replied making her smile before we pressed our lips together again
