"You okay?" I ask Riley, I've walked out the bathroom after a shower that evening to find her sat by the window trying to hide a few tears
"Yeah" She said once again trying to hide her wiping them away
"Riley?" I said making her look at me, she flashed her usual fake smile when she wants to avoid a conversation
I sighed going to sit next to her
"Come on, talk to me" I said nudging her. She looked at me biting her lip again
"I'm going to have to ask your kindly not to do that though" I said looking down at her lips before making her face turn into confusion
"why?" she asked
"You don't want to know" I replied and she glared
"Uh yeah I do" She said laughing
"no no you don't" I replied, Riley began to bit her lip again making me look away

"Don't go all shy" She laughed
"Well if I look at you I'll see it, if I avoid it. I don't see it. Problem solved" I replied, Riley was not happy with that plan, she moved back into my eye sight only for me to move again
"Stop it" I warned her
"James look at me" She whined making me laugh, I continued to try and look away but Riley took both of my arms into her group not allowing me to move
"Your asking for trouble" I warned her looking at her
"I got the trouble from the moment I met you" she replied with a smile on her face that I happily returned before she bit her lip again

"Riley!" i yelled making her laugh
"James!" She yelled back making me narrow my eyes at her
"I don't see what the big deal is" She said smirking at me
"Yes you do, you can't fool anyone Riley" I laughed, she still had a grip of my arms but it had loosened now
Riley looked at me once again smiling before biting her lip a final time, this time instead of alerting her of it. I moved my hands out of her grip. Placing them on her waist

Her breath hitched slightly as I pulled her closer, she looked down at me while I looked up at her. I needed a sign, I needed her to tell me I wasn't pushing her too far right now

With in a matter of seconds, Riley placed her hand on my cheek stroking it gently and you can bet your ass I took that as my sign 
I gently lent up to Riley pressing our lips together. It couldn't have been any better, the moment our lips touched I could feel Riley smile into the kiss

I think it's safe to say neither of us wanted this to end, I gripped Riley's thighs, picking her up off of the ground placing her on my lips without breaking the kiss
Riley giggle slightly at the exchange before slowly pulling away
"That is why you shouldn't bite you lip" I replied making her blush and hide her face in the crock of my neck
"I think that's even more reason to do it" she whispered probably in the hope I hadn't heard but I did.. god i did.

The next morning glommed it's ugly head. It was the day Riley and I are meant to head home but I can't help but think the second we get home, things change. We go back to not speaking. But I want to keep this side of us going because I couldn't be happier
"Morning" Riley said stretching before turning over cuddling up to me. This was the first time she had done that and I certainly hope it isn't the last

"Good morning" I replied placing a kiss on the top of her head. The pair of us looked at each other before smiling, I was about to lean in when Riley flipped the duvet open signalling she was getting out of bed
I couldn't blame her, we had slept in a lot. We were due to meet her friends before going home but even then that didn't give us much time at all
"I want to do this right" I said watching as Riley walked around the corner, she stopped in her tracks before turning back to look at me

"What?" She asked trying her best to fight back a yawn
"Us. Whatever this is, I want to do it right" I said making her smile slightly
"What do you mean?" she asked
"I mean Riley" I said jumping out of bed to get closer to her 
"I want to ask your dad's permission to take you on a date. Then I want to take you on the best date you could imagine. Then when the time is right, you'd be my first official girlfriend" I smiled making her smile at me before biting her lip
"What have I said about that" I warned her making her roll her eyes before crashing our lips together with a giggle
"Careful, I've got James wanting a girlfriend" she smirked walking into the bathroom
I chuckled before falling onto the bed with a smile on my face. She's something
