"It's not long now until you leave" Giselle pouted as we walked through the corridors with Thalia beside us
"It'll be okay, it's not like you'll never see me again" I smiled making the pair wrap their arms around me
"We've got what, 3 days left with you?" Thalia asked and I nodded
"Then we need to use them wisely" She winked as we approached the boys
As soon as I got close enough, James wrapped his arms around me pulling me closer towards him as I reached up pressing our lips together
"hey" I smiled cuddling up to him a little more
"hey" He smiled back before pressing his lips against my temple before we turned back to the gang
"All I'm saying is that the night before we head off to college, we should all hang out one last time" West said making me smile
"I think we should" I added making everyone look at me and smile
"Even with your busy schedule?" Giselle teased as I rolled my eyes
"One last hurrah before we all brave the big bad world?" I smiled before hearing James chuckle
"what harm could it really do" James said siding with me
"Alright so who has the earliest start date?" Hunter asks
"I do, I'm heading up on September 1st" Riley said making everyone nod knowing that nobody else would be going off until later that week
"so August 31st? Everyone comes home?" Giselle asked watching each of us as we nodded with big smiles on our faces
It's actually crazy to think that this time a year ago, I had no idea who these people were. I was so dead set on the life I had and the plan I had in front of me that had my Dad not got this promotion, I may have never met any of these people

Later that evening, James and I were sat in our usual spot. We had blankets and pillows set up in the back of his car while we overlooked the lake in front of us
"What are you thinking about?" James asked pecking my cheeks while I continued to trace circles on his arm
"What are you doing for college? You never talk about it?" I asked looking up at him, he chuckled lightly
"you know just under a month ago, your Dad warned told me you would fixate on that" He said making me roll my eyes
"I'm serious James, Where are you going to be?" I whispered looking down, I began to play with my finger tips before James took a hold of one of my hands making me look up at him
"Is it really that important?" He asked as I nodded
"I just, I don't know" I said pushing my hair our of my face
"hey hey calm down, breathe" James said sitting up with me
"But what if we are across the country James? I can't expect you to wait around for me" I said bowing my head, I heard James chuckle before he gently tilted my head up to look at him
"you wouldn't be making me wait around Riley, I would be doing so because I love you. Regardless on if we weren't across the world or not. I would always wait" He smiled
"You're still avoiding the question James" I said stressing once again
I just don't understand why he can't just be open, why he can't just tell me because if I was thinking normal, I would assume he didn't have a plan..
"Ri" James said leaning back on his arm chuckling
"I'm serious James" I said making him smile one last time before reaching behind him to grab his school back before pausing
During his brief pause he looked up at me and chuckled again before pulling something out of his bag
"What's so funny?" i asked not understanding the punchline
"Open it" James said handing me an envelope, I looked over at him slightly confused which only turned his smile wider
"You want to know so badly Riiii" he teased poking my sides before leaning back into his position
I opened the envelope pulling out a booklet and a letter, as I glanced over at James I noticed the smile on his face had now turned into a smirk as he watched me read the letter
'Dear Applicant,
Congratulations. After an array of auditions, tasks, and exams you have secured your position on the Class in September of this year.
Your major will be Music

I looked at James a little speechless before he clapped his hands once laughing
"You're going to Julliard?" I asked still in shock
"No Riley" he smiled making me look at him confused
"We are" He continued before I leant forward crashing our lips together, he chuckled lightly as his arms snaked around my waist pulling me in closer
I pulled away biting my lip lightly before James chuckled
"You didn't really think I'd let you escape now did you?" He winked cupping my cheek
"I love you" I smiled before he pressed his lips against mine again
"I love you more" James answered as I cuddled up to his chest
