"Where is Ri?" I asked the boys after finally managing to escape Beth
"She did come looking for you, I guess she didn't find you because she left a couple minutes ago" West explained making me look at them confused
I shot Riley a text but after not hearing from her after a couple minutes I hopped in the car to head home 

I was about to pull into the driveway when I see Riley almost at her house
"Hey Ri, why'd you leave with out me" I asked, she looked at me and shook her head continuing to walk
"Woahhh" I said pulling over the car going up to her
It was clear from the state of her face she had been crying
"Ri what's going on" I asked but she pushed past me heading inside shutting the door

I took one look at her window, as I was about to climb up I saw Riley's light turn on and she instantly came over and shut it making sure to make sure I saw she locked it before closing her curtains

I had been trying to get through to Riley all night, I even walked over and knocked at the door only for Harry to send me away
Now we are heading back to school and I know for a fact Riley has probably left early in the hope to avoid me

And there she was at her locker talking to Thalia and Giselle
"Hey" I said wrapping an arm around her, the moment I did she walked out of my arms glaring at me
"Ri, what have I missed" I said, Thalia and Giselle bowed their heads walking away
I went to reach out for Riley again but she shook her head trying to hold back tears
"don't touch me" She whispered

"Riley, you're worrying me" I said and she scoffed closing her locker
"Talk to me Riley, in order for this relationship to work, we need to talk" I said making her look at me in disbelief
"no James" She said looking at me with tearfilled eyes

"In order for this relationship to work. You shouldn't have cheated on me" She said making my eyes widen

"Ri Riley please" I begged shaking my head
"Just leave me alone" she said shaking any of my grip away from her
"Please Riley let me explain" I begged and she shook her head
"What's the point James? I didn't hear this through the grapevine. I saw it myself" She said making me look at her

I was about to lose her if I didn't do something, I've fucked up
"Riley I swear" I started but she laughed

"The funny thing is James, I trusted you. I let you in when I didn't let anyone else" She started
"You saw what cheating did to my dad and you went and did the same thing" she growled
"You can't sit there and say to my face that it meant nothing, if it didn't mean a thing. It wouldn't have happened" She continued to rant

"I stood there watching as your ripped my heart out. I stood there watching fucking hope you would pull away, you would show some ounce of fucking dignity for me" She yelled 
"But No, you let her fucking kiss you." She said shaking her head
"You threw away any shot of a future for us" She said bowing her head

"You threw away me" She said before walking away
I looked at her as she walked away, I wanted to run after her, I wanted to chase her but I know for a fact that would only fuel this fire
maybe I need to accept the fact that I just lost the best thing to ever happen to me

Maybe I need to accept the fact that I broke her heart while she still has mine locked up.
