The students exited the elevator and headed to their podiums. They had already done this twice before. Kezami's podium was crossed out with a pink X, just like Yua's, and Vixen's was crossed with two pens.
"Let's find whoever did this." Said Jira.
"And let's make them pay." Said Ikari, scowling.
Vixen's gone.
She was so nice, too.
And now she's dead.
This is for her.
[Class Trial-Start! All Rise!]
"Now then." Monokuma began again. "I'll remind you of the rules here. During this trial, you will discuss the murder, present your arguments, and vote on 'whodunnit'! If you vote correctly, the culprit will be punished. If you pick the wrong person...I'll punish everyone besides the culprit, and they will earn the right to leave Hope's Peak!"
"Alright, now that that's over, discuss." Monokuma said.
"Let's start this off with alibis." Said Ikari.
"I was in my room." Said Jira.
"Seconded." Said Emily.
Ikari turned toward her. "Really?"
Emily nodded. "Uh, yeah."
Ikari looked around the room. "Is there anyone that can prove it?"
[Nonstop Debate-Begin!]
"Yeah, there is." Emily said.
"Really? How do we know you're lying and trying to shift the blame?" Asked Jira.
"I wouldn't do that!" Emily said.
"But you can't prove it." Retorted Ikari.
[Truth Bullet-Chino's Alibi]
"There's something wrong with that!" Horiuchi said.
BREAK!
"Actually, Chino can prove that. He is Emily's alibi." Said Horiuchi.
"Yeah! See? I do have someone to back it up!" Emily said.
Chino nodded. "It's true. Emily and I stayed together last night."
Ikari hung her head. "Sorry. Just wanna find whoever did this."
"It's fine." Said Emily.
"Moving on." Ikari said. Her eyes roamed around the room, before focusing on Ide. "You have an alibi?"
Ide shook his head. "Nope. Was in my room the entire time."
