Part 7

Ches walks through the door. "I talked to your parents Storm, you're legally my kid now" he says kicking his shoes off lighting a cigarette. "Wait huh?" I stand up letting go of Kyozetan's hand. "Mhm, we're finalizing it tomorrow. I'm taking you to get the rest of your things in 15 minutes." He says. "Wait hold on-" I'm totally caught off guard. "Oh kid you didn't have to clean thanks." Chive russles my hair walking to the kitchen getting himself a pop. I sit back down needing a minute to process. Ches is my dad now— Ches in my dad now. CHES IS MY DAD NOW?? No this is cliché this can't be happening. This isn't a wattpad story this is my life how?

Ches drives me and Kyo to my ex-parents house so I can pack the rest of my things. I shoot my parents a glare that I hope that I scarred into their brains. My biological dad steps forward to probably hit me or some shit however Ches steps in front of him. I hear him say something as I go into my room with Kyoze. He helps me pack, it doesn't really take very long anyway sense I don't have very many things. I take down my posters and get my records and record player. My stuffed animals. "What's this?" Kyo says picking up a notebook with a whole bunch of conversation we passed in class. "Wait tou still have this- isnt this from like 7th grade?" He answers his own question smiling flipping through the pages. "Oh yeah-" I respond not reallt paying attention making sure to pack everything i would miss if I left it behind. Kyoze flips through the pages just reading our conversations. "Oh my god our field trip to Moscow" he says smiling. "Yeah- I'm all packed" I stay standing up totally distracted. "Storm?" He says standing up. "Yeah?" I turn around looking at him. "You're- thanks" he mumbles. "huh?" I reply confused. "Sleepover?" He asks. "Sure!" I smile at him walking to the car. Ches is holding back my "father" so I don't get hit or something.
