Vince

This is my first major project and I need to do a good job!

"Ok," I heard her reply. "Pero wag masyado magpapagutom ah! Have a great day!"

"Thanks, Ma!"

I drove as fast as I can papunta sa office and luckily I made it on time.

"Yeah," I said as I finally got to relax and sit down.

Mabuti na lang talaga at nalate siya. I really want to give a good impression. This is a really good opportunity for me and I don't want to mess it up.

We waited for another ten minutes before they arrived, then the meeting started. Wala naman naging problema sa mga design. We did a good job daw much to our relief. Nakakapagod magrevise .

"You boys did a good job. I will meet with the head of engineering tapos we will hold a general meeting with the client naman. After that we can start with the construction na. You can take a break before going back to work. Thank you, gentlemen."

"Thanks, Chief!" sagot namin.

I'll just eat at my desk na lang.

My phone began to ring while I was working. I smiled when I saw who was calling.

"Sup," I said.

"Vince!" bungad niya sa akin. Bakas ang excitement sa boses niya. Napano na naman kaya siya?

"Paris!" pagsakay ko naman sa excitement niya.

"Guess what?" she said, her excitement not showing any decline.

"What?"

"I'm going to be a part of your project!"

"Really?" Now I am equally as excited as her. " That's so cool!"

"I know right?

"I guess we will be seeing each other a lot then." I can't help but feel excited. This will be our first project together. With me as an architect and her as an engineer.

"I know! Isn't it exciting? Anyways, I only called to tell you. Marami pa akong gagawin. Bye!" dire-diretso niyang sabi then she ended the call.

Napailing na lang ako sa ginawa niya. Itong babae talagang to. Sobrang hyper. Paris has been my best friend for years. Ever since we met we just sort of clicked. It just felt like we have this kind of bond that binds us together.

We met in not so common circumstances. Ang totoo, we both got in an accident five years ago. Another thing, we woke up at the same time. It seems that we were truly connected at some sort of level. Both of us even lost our memories.

I know it's weird that I am talking about it so casually, but what can I do? We already lost our memories. Wala na kaming magagawa.

Anyways, dahil nga sa mga nangyari, our family grew close. Siguro dahil we experienced the same things kaya naiintindihan namin ang bawat isa. Plus the fact that they always set our check up appointments at the same day. Palagi kaming nagkikita so we became best friends.

Some people pity us for what happened pero I think that really needed to happen. I'm glad that it happened. If it didn't, then I would not be able to meet Paris and her family. I won't be able to meet such beautiful people. For me it was a blessing in disguise.
