Is Shard Uncle Chuck's Son?

        During a mission, Sir Charles (Chuck) went check on Eggman's lab, because he had heard that Eggman is working on a project. As he enters the lab, he was surprised to see an unborn baby hedgehog, who is black with yellow stripes, inside a capsule. This baby hedgehog not only has the gift of speed, but he also has Charles DNA. That is when he realizes that this baby hedgehog is his son, and he was shocked to see that Eggman was able to use his DNA to create a Mobian. Charles couldn't let the baby hedgehog grow up without the love and care of a parents and be Eggman's servant. So, he decided to take the baby hedgehog with him, though there were bandits who tried to stop him from getting away, but he was able to escape and destroyed the lab once and for all. A few months later, after the baby hedgehog was out of his capsule, Charles named the baby Shard and began to raise him. Shard was upset at first to know that he was created by Eggman, even though he has Charles DNA, but he was still happy to be part of a real family and to have Charles as his father.
