Kai picked up the sphere from the ground and turned to his teammates, his face glowing with joy.

"Quick, let's touch the sphere together before the enemy notices what we've done."

May stood in shock, looking at Kai, then at the sphere, and back at Kai again.

"I can't believe this."

"Explain yourself, Kai!"

"Hey, remember that rock you gave me, May? I painted it black!"

"You... what?!"

"The first time I saw Alice at the waterfall, I instantly recognized her. She's a well-known graffiti artist from Buur City."

May raised an eyebrow as she walked up to Kai.

"This doesn't explain how you came up with the plan, though."

"When I first got the sphere from Vin, I was surprised by how heavy it was for its small size."

Kai tosses the sphere to May.

"Ow... Wow, this thing is heavy! I didn't notice that the first time I held it—guess I was too distracted."

May tosses the sphere back to Kai.

"My main target was Alice's bag, since that's where she had both the sphere and her spray cans."

Suddenly, Zeru grabbed Kai by his t-shirt and screamed at him.

"Why the hell didn't you tell us the entire plan?!"

"Kai took a deep breath and found the courage to shove Zeru's hand away aggressively."

"Everyone had their role in the plan, and mine was to secure the sphere."

Kai and Zeru were at each other's throats.

"You used me as a decoy so you could play the big hero and save the team."

"This isn't about me, and if it hadn't been for you guys, the plan would've failed."

May separated them and then turned to face Zeru.

"Why are you so angry? Don't you see we won?"

"I wouldn't call this a win."

May was starting to get angry as well.

"So, what do you call this, huh?"

"You didn't earn that sphere. The enemy just took pity on you and gave it away."

"So what?"

"This is what someone weak would do. I'm from a superior clan, and people will talk about how I earned the sphere."

"You jerk. Do you have any clue what Kai and I had to go through just to get here today?"

"I've already told you, if you're weak, you don't belong in this event."

"You selfish bastard. You are..."

"Enough, both of you! Can't you see the whole world is watching us?"

Kai placed his hand on the sphere.

"Let's finish this."

May rested her hand on the sphere, and they both waited for Zeru.

The world was dead silent, and they waited eagerly to see what Zeru would do next.

May turned to Zeru, gave him a nervous smile, and did her best to encourage him.

"Come on, Zeru. We may not always agree, but this is our only chance to see the outside world."

Zeru slowly lifted his hand and placed it gently on the sphere.
