(POV:Reader)

I rushed up the stairs to get dressed. 'There is no way I'm seeing mother and father like this' I told myself. I opened the door to my bedroom and saw my little kitten playing with a ball of yarn.

-"Oh Pavlova" the little bell in her collar tingled as she ran towards me.

-"Meow"

-"I'll play with you soon, let me get dressed" I went to my closet and opened the door, looking for the dress I was supposed to wear for the party.

-"I can't...here it is!" it was a y/f/c dress with white lace trimmings.

-"Come on Pavlova, we best be going!" I picked her up and I walked to the parlor.

As I walked down the stairs I saw a glimpse of the tree through the half opened door. It was absolutely beautiful, the tree was so grand and majestic, up close.

-"Oh Mama, it's absolutely beautiful!"

-"It's the most beautiful tree we have ever had!"

-"Every tree is the most beautiful we have ever had," she told me.

-"But this one will surely be the tallest, right sugar plum," father stated proudly.

-"And the widest" I said in agreement.

-"Can we open our presents now, Papa?" I elbowed Fritz once more for being rude.

-"Just one" he answered and laughed at Fritz's excitement.

I know I just got mad at Fritz for asking, but if Father said yes then I might as well open one. I mean even Louise is opening her gifts.

-"WOW! Soldiers!" Fritz had gotten a set of soldiers with a cannon.

-"Oh she's very pretty" I picked up the doll that was sitting near the tree. She was pretty, her cheeks were painted pink and she wore a big hat and long flowy dress.

-"I think I'll name you...Marie"

-"I think this will probably be Y/n's last doll" mother sighed sadly.

-"I think not, I love dolls, thank you Papa, thank you Mama" I hugged them both.

-"Oh Mama! Papa! It's Beautiful!" Louise took the dress she had gotten out of the box. I will admit, but not out loud, it was beautiful.

-"I love it, I love it! It's so adorable! It's perfect!"

-"Y/n, isn't this the prettiest dress you've ever seen?" I stuck my tongue out at her.

-"I'm gonna put it on, right now!" she rushed up to her room, letting the clicking of her heels be the last thing we heard from her.

-"Oh Carl! It's beautiful!" father had given mother a diamond necklace and tied it around her neck.

-"Dancing slippers! Thank you Mama, thank you Papa"

-"Hey! You were only supposed to open one gift!" Fritz yelled at me.

-"Oops!" I giggled at him.

(A/N):

I'm so happy Christmas is soon!

For the people who celebrate Christmas, do you guys put up a real or a fake tree? My family put's a real tree which is the best, but not for allergies.

I hope you enjoy the story!

Bye!
