(POV:Reader)

-"What did they do? Did they catch her?" I asked.

-"Well, they thought it was the perfect time to invent...the Mouse trap"

-"Oh, uncle Drosselmeyer" I giggled while he let out a chuckle.

-"They had managed to catch all the mice, except the Mouse Queen and her son..."

-"Her one and only son"

-"The Mouse Queen in pure anger promised to do something in revenge for what they had been doing"

-"And that night the Mouse Queen and her son, crept into Princess Pirlipat's bedchamber"

-"The snoring Princess and her nanny slept peacefully while the Mouse Queen chanted a curse on the Princess and bit her left toe"

-"The Princess let out a scream as well as the nanny, who was frightened at the new princess's form"

-"What did she look like?" I asked.

-"Well...she was green, her skin was rough and her eyes looked dead, her teeth were crooked and yellow"

-"What happened next?"

-"Well, the next morning the Queen and King cried, saddened by the new appearance of their once perfect princess"

-"Full of sadness and blameless anger the King blamed Hans and his uncle"

-"And proclaimed that their heads would be chopped off"

-"Oh, No!"

-"Yes, but luckily the Queen stepped in and instead said they could keep their heads as long as they found a cure by tomorrow"

-"What! Only a day to find a cure for an unknown curse!" I felt anxious for Hans and his uncle.

-"Yes dear, well, hour after hour Hans and Drosselmeyer sat by Princess Pirlipat's bed trying to study or find a clue of what was wrong with her"

-"Hans, who had been giving the Princess nuts, told his uncle who sprung up with a great idea in mind"

-"They both rushed to their tower and split up to find the cure, Hans read about everything he could find, while Drosselmeyer jotted down every pattern he could find about the Princess"

-"Which, indeed, was no easy job"

-"Hours went by before they had finally found a cure"

-"What was it?"

-"A nut, the Fabled Karaka tooth Nut"

-"Once they found out what it was, they waited till morning to tell the King and Queen what it was"

-"They told them as soon as they where up, the Queen had finally stopped crying and the King was well...not so angry anymore"

-"But that was not all"

-"Really? This is a complicated story" he chuckled at my comment.

-"The nut was the hardest one to open"

-"It had to be opened by a young man who has never worn boots, and had to hand it to her with his eyes closed as well as taking seven steps backwards without stumbling"

-"With these news the King declared anyone from nobility who opened the nut would win his daughter's hand in marriage and he would become prince of the kingdom"
