Tanjiro POV
Flashback
I was descending the mountain that had my home on it. I got the worst beating ever today. I kept total concentration breathing to try and stop some of the blood. I had run into a clearing. It looked peaceful. It had a big boulder near a tree on one end and a little pond on the other.
I sat near the boulder and concentrated on my breathing again. It started to work. Mom looked really mad today. I don't know what happened but it caused her to make her beating on me more brutal.
I stop thinking about it and look at my surroundings. There were a lot of flowers that I didn't know of. All different colors and shapes. The sun shone nicely in this area that gave it a peaceful look. There was shade in all the right areas. The sun also seemed to reflect on the pond giving it an unlively like blue that made it sparkle.
It was beautiful. That was disrupted tho by rusling near me in a bush. A kid with black hair, yellow and orange haori came out of it crying. He had a few bruises. His haori also had little white triangles on it(Are the light yellow or white?). His hair was a bit of a mess but what concerned me the most was that
he was sad.
"Are you ok?" I asked shyly. He seemed frightened that I spoke and turned in my direction.
"Who are you?" He asked vary quietly. He was scared.
"M-My name Is Tanjiro!" I replied a bit too excitedly at the end.
"I'm Z-Zenitsu." He said still nervous.
"You can sit with me if you want." I spoke after some awkward silence. He seemed hesitant at first but complied. We soon started to talk. It had been a few minutes when something ran from the bushes to our direction.
There had to be something or someone following it because they landed on top of it.
"AHAHA I caught you!" Spoke a kid. He had some boar pent(That's a thing right?) covering his bottom half. His top half tho was exposed along with his head. He had Black hair with some dark blue tips. He stopped to look at us and then and the thing under him.
"This is my kill you want some your going to have to take it from me" He threatened.
"I don't really find that appetizing and I kind of brought my own" I told him taking out a little basket that I had ran with. He looked at me then the basket. His stomach growled as he looked at it.
"You can eat with us if you want." I offered. I had taken out a sandwich and held it out for him. Hd looked at me, then the sandwich and than ran to it hands out to take it. He sat down to eat it when he finally got his hands on it. He munched down like an animal but it was ok.
I took out another sandwich and handed it to Zenitsu while getting one for myself. We ate in silence.
"We never got your name." I told him. He looked up from his sandwich and began.
"My name is Inosuke. Hashibira Inosuke remember it!" He stated as if proud of himself.
"Well Inosuke, my name is Tanjiro and next to me is Zenitsu." I said making sure to mention Zenitsu. we spent a while talking while eating. It was fun. We were all around the boulder laughing and having fun.
Flashback End
Inosuke and Zenitsu sat in front of me in the room.
"wait Zenitsu, Inosuke." I started. They stopped talking and looked at me.
