Tanjiro's POV Few Days Later
It has been a few days since Rengoku's "death", and we were all being called to meet the master of the corps. If you are wondering how I knew where the graveyard was, well I will tell you. While we were "recovering" I would go around late at night in my demon form exploring the base. I came across it in one of those trips.
Kakushi were escorting us. When we get there, we see the hashira already there. They were sitting in a line in front of a porch(Is it a porch?). We all head behind the hashira a talk amongst ourselves. It turns out Nezuko had gotten hurt when they were evacuating the train.
I had to carry her here. She didn't seem all too happy with it. I was talking with Zenitsu and Inosuke when I sensed three people making their way here. I stopped talking and so did the other two. We kneel and bow our heads as a sign of respect.
The hashira took notice of this and looked forward to see the master being lead towards the porch by his children. They announce that "the master has arrived" and he sits down.
"Greetings my fellow children." He had greeted with a soft and kind voice.
"Greetings master." We all replied, minus some of us(cough ...Nezuko).
"I wish for you to have more healthy days master." A boy with a mask and a snake said.
"Thank you Iguro." He looked back at the rest before moving his gaze towards us, "I called this meeting to meet the few children that accompanied Rengoku on the train. May I know your names please."
We sat there in silence before I spoke up.
"My name is Tanjiro Kamado. My friends and I were on that mission. I pose as the oldest in the group(Might not be right but go with it)." I introduced myself and looked to my right.
"My name is Zenitsu Agatsuma. I pose as the second youngest in the group(My au so deal with it)." Zenitsu was calm and respectful.
"My name is Inosuke Hashibira. I am the second oldest in the group." Inosuke also said surprisingly calm.
"My name is Nezuko Kamado and I pose as the youngest in the group" Nezuko cringed a bit at her last name, as it had ties with Tanjiro.
"It is great to finally meet you my children. I had heard wonderful news of you. Tanjiro was it. You were the one able to fight and hold your own against lower 1 for hours. Is that correct?" He asked.
"Yes that is true. Thought I had wasted almost all of my energy when upper moon 3 came. I couldn't help Rengoku who lost his life at the end." I looked down "guilty". I could tell they were all looking at me. It was a bit gross to be honest. I could feel and smell the pity they were feeling.
Well most of them.
"It is alright child. You had did your best, that is all that matters. Now i would like to discuss something else." the master said calmly.
Later
We were up and walking about the place. The meeting was finished and everyone was heading off to their own places to sleep. I wanted to say hello to Giyuu so I said a quick goodbye to the rest and headed where his scent was the strongest.
When I made it there, I saw that Shinobu-san was bothering Giyuu. Giyuu's scent started to turn that of a sad person. I could tell that whatever Shinobu-san was saying was hurting Giyuu. I got up and ran crushing giyuu in a hug.
"GIYUU!" I happily yelled clinging on to him. I know Shinobu-san was a bit angry, but so was I. without looking at her my smile dropped.
"What do you think you are doing to Giyuu-san, Shinobu?" I asked making both hashira shiver at my tone of voice. I looked back at her still in Giyuu's hold and stared into her eyes. There was no more spark in mine and it clearly scared her.
"I was just messing with him Tanjiro" She said trying to keep herself from losing the battle.
"Lair. Stay away from Giyuu" I said hardening my stare at her while hugging giyuu a bit more. She seemed to get more angered at my statement but she looked at us again a left. with her gone i dropped my hold on giyuu and look at him. I smile and start to tell him about this new food place that opened up in the village nearby.
A small smile made it's way to his face as we walked for a bit.
"Do you wanna join me?" I happily asked looking at him as we walked.
