Tanjiro's POV

We all look up to see who spoke. The figure in the tree jumped down and I opened my arms to catch them. A smile crept onto my face as Rui lands safely in my arms. We embrace for a bit before he leads us to the house.

I made sure to tell him to gather the rest of his family before we explain, giving him the season that it is something important that all of them should hear. Once they all are here, we begin to explain why we are here.

"It seems as though someone has come out to tell them(the demon slayers) about you being here. Now you all are in danger." I said with a serious voice. A few gasps rung around the room.

"What are-e we going to do?" asked the mother spider worry dripping out with the words. I looked at her. It was nice and peaceful here. I came to visit a few times and saw how Rui had treated his family before. I decided so show him what a true family was about and helped them create that bond.

There was no more violence or abuse. They were all finally happy and started seeing each other as a real family. I was welcome to stay and join. I joined but we agreed that I would be able to do my missions and live in the fortress. I would stop to visit from time to time after some missions or if I was bored.

I was glad that they decided to stay by his side and forgive him. Rui has grown. Not physically but mentally. he will grow up to be a strong demon indeed. Plus he now has a family that support  him. I'm sure he will be able to protect them.

"Hey onii-chan. Can't you just ask Nakime to take us to the fortress?" Rui asked.I thought about it but then realised something.

"That might of worked if it hadn't been told that there might be one of the twelve kizuki here. If we did it now they will get more suspicious. It would lead to them searching every mountain for you. You guys would no longer be safe." I explain.

Everyone looked at each other nervously. I could smell a bit of fear out of everyone.

"You guys will not need to worry. I have an Idea." I said a smirk forming. The people around the table felt a slight shiver down their spines. They could see that in tanjiro's eyes, a flash glint of a genius. His eyes said it all. He had something that would work.

Later 3rd person's POV

We see a boy with red and black hair with a mark on his forehead running while a demon chases him. He had a boy on his back. The demon was pure white. He knew that two of his friends were out of commission. The boy on his back was none other than Murata. He got injured and couldn't walk.

The demon chasing them was none other than Rui. Switching from the webs connected to the trees to the floors on the mountain to catch them. Tanjiro had a lot of scratches covering his entire body from their fight earlier.

While they were on the run, another demon slayer intercepted their way and went to strike rui. He wore a mismatched hoari.
