TW/CW ABUSE, MENTIONS OF ALCHOHOL AND CIGARETTES

I was a junior. As was he. And we were in the same biology class. We were great friends. And he was..well used to be super sweet.

"Hey Q. I wanted to ask you something?" Schaltt said. Standing before me. "Okay? What's up?" I question. He sighs and says something that at that time was the best thing ever.

"Would you like to be my boyfriend?" He asks. I'm taken aback but almost immediately say "i- uh- yes! Yes, yes I will!" He hugs me very tight. We then went to class.

At the beginning he was super sweet. But then he started hanging out with some shady guys. He started smoking, drinking. And was doing some illegal things. He changed. For the worse.

At first it was harsh comments and words

But then....

"You have to stop hanging out with those guys! They are a terrible influence and they dont even Go to our highschool. Do they even go to highschool?!" I yelled. He had been out since 12am and it was currently 7am.

"Oh stop being a bitch. Just cause I hang out with some guys you haven't seen before doesn't mean anything. I can be out for as long as I want" he snarled.

"You could be cheating for all I know. And do I have to mention the underage drink and smoking? This place smells like shit!" Before anything else could happen he grabs the front of my shirt and pulls me close to his face.

"And what are you gonna do about it? You're too weak to fight anyone."

"I'll leave you"

He dropped me. I look towards him.

*smack*

"No the hell you wont. It doenst matter what happens you will not leave me."

I just stood there. With my hand on my cheek. I didnt say anything. I just went to our room. He had an apartment and insisted I lived with him.

It had only gotten worse from there. But I won't go into to much detail.

Well howd you get out?

Karl. He helped me so much.

It's late. Idk how late. But late. Its raining. My head its bleeding. And I'm bruised. I probably have some glass shards stuck in me. I smell like beer.

Schaltt had hit me with an bottle of beer. And eventually he hit me so hard that it broke. He grumbled and left to his room.

I got up and ran outside.

I ran and ran, and soon I made it to Karl's house. You weren't home, you were staying at your friends house all spring break. He was home alone.

"Oh my god!? Quackity? What happened?!" I could say anything was to busy crying. He grabbed my arm and brought me inside. He sat me down in the bathroom and got a first aid kit. He cleaned me up and smiled and thanked him.

"Now..what happened?" He asked as he put the kit up.

"Schaltt"

"Again? I've told you to go to the police! He needs to be arrested!"

I shook my head. "Dont call the police. I dont wanna involve more people. I should be strong enough to deal with it on my own..I'm not but, I can deal with it." I look up at karl. "Please please please do not tell the police!" He looked at me for a second before nodding. "Okay fine. But you're staying here. At least for tonight." I nodded and went to his guest room. I fell asleep almost immediately.

Karl went to the kitchen.

"In sorry Quackity. But I cant let him do this" he picked his phone up"

"911 what's your emergency?"

"I'd like to report an act of domestic abuse"

"Okay. Sure. Tell me the name of the abuser and the name of the victim"

"Schaltt J is the abuser and my friend alex Quackity is the victim"

"Okay, thank you honey. I'll need your address and il need to know if you need an ambulance"

"Okay my address is ****** on ****** street
And I would like an ambulance just to check up in him and make sure hes properly taken care of."

"Okay thank you. Sending medics and policemen. It looks like Alex's father is part of the force. Would you like me to send him out specifically?"

"Yes thatd be great"

"Okay they will be there shorty"

She hung up.

He put his phone down. And turned around to go to the door.

"Why would you do that.." I ask. I was happy he did. But also so so scared for what schaltt would do.

"I had to. I'm sorry" he hugged me.

Eventually the police came and asked both of us questions and eventually helped us out. My father was so devastated that he didnt notice the signs.

"Woah..I'm so sorry. Why isn't he in jail?" Tina asked and she put gym shoes on.

"Something about him being a high schooler or something. Its dumb. But I got a restraining order. That doesn't work while were in school. But he cant come near me out of school. And that's good enough" I respond

"Well if you ever need help I have some fighting skills" I giggle and thank her.

And then we go through P.E

*time skip to last hour of school*

I was walking outside to wait for the buses.

"Hey Quackity!" I see sapnap.

"Wanna ride? Me and karl are going to the movies and have an extra ticket" he asked

"Well I wouldn't want to intrude on your guys alone time." He shakes his head.

"I wanna hang out. Just the three of us. Like how it used to be." I nod. He takes me to his car. [You can imagine whatever car you want :)]

I see karl in the passenger seat. I take a seat in the back.

"Alright let's go see some good movies"

"We should eat after!" Karl suggests

"What like a date?" Sapnap jokes

"Why of course" karl jokes back

I wish they weren't joking.
