As she was about to go with her cousin, she heard another thump! as another book came out of the pit. As she bent down to pick it up, someone yelled at her "Hey! What are you doing!?" she flipped around and saw Dipper and Stanford Pines coming at her. "What are you doing!? Put that journal DOWN!" Ford yelled at her. "Those were tossed in there for a reason!" Dipper yelled. Gwen left the second book and bolted for Pacifica.
As soon as she slid into the car, the door slammed shut.
Gwen had slid the third book into her jacket pocket, then pulled it out while sitting in the car next to Pacifica. "What's that?" she asked. "Oh, nothing. Just a book I found-" Gwen responded. But Pacifica stopped her. "Wait. That book looks familiar. It's that nerd book that Dipper always had with him. Dunno how YOU got it, but I guess that's cool." Pacifica said. "Oh... yeah, I suppose so."
