We know We look just fine,
With the big smile of ours.
Giggling and chatting away,
Everyday's a good day.

But it's hard sometimes,
If only you could read our minds.
When the childish giggles you would hear,
Have turned into tears.

When our bright smile,
Only lasts a short while.
Always a little girl,
With ribbons and pearls.

Or it seemed so,
But at the time we didn't know.
As we get older,
Things will turn colder.

The kids weren't kind,
But we didn't mind.
We was happy, happy, happy.
Happy as can be.

But now We're growing up,
Things are getting tough.
Too much pressure on our shoulders,
Once excited butterflies are now boulders.

We were once young and naive,
We thought those days would never leave.
The sun lit up our heart everyday,
And daisies grew in the grass where I lay.
