Girl.

She walks with her head down,
Hiding her frown.
She's not an ordinary girl,
Full of rainbows and pearls.

Living off coffee got no sleep,
Her thoughts are so deep.
She stares at the moon in the dark,
Same cold, broken feeling in her heart.

Teacher's voice a faint blur,
Every word slips past her.
She can't concentrate,
Waiting to be saved from self-hate.

A party! Her friend wants to go,
But she feels too low.
"Oh, sorry I can't make it tonight."
That was a lie she's going through a fight.

Never listened to what she went through.
She says she's just going to the loo.
Says "I've lost so much, it's now my turn."
Tears of regret when she never returned.
