Wrath

Why do the guilty get to run free?

They should be held accountable, the same as you and me.

I want to watch them wither, watch them cry;

More than anything, they should pay their penance, perhaps they'll die.

The world is full of liars who are consistently defended.

When, without them, wars could have been ended.

They told us that we are too young,

Yet when we grow up, we are told we should have acted all along.

Let those without sin cast the first stone, they say;

Yet the biggest sinners go first, day by day.

The youth are the strength,

And though perceived to be without it, we have patience at length.

Our wrath will win in the end,

Through our elders who have already laid in their bed.
