But how to define a sin?
Whether by its worth to the world, or its capability to break a human?
The gravity of a sin is dependent on its host;
Those who have been harmed by the sin inherit its affliction,
Use the pain of the sin as a perfect embrace and defense.
The whisperings of the envious create a host of Envy,
pushing her to the brink of insanity and rage.
The hurt becomes wrathful and will inflict others with the pain of their Wrath.
Seeing the 1% hoarding the resources that he desperately needs,
Greed is the youth, trying to fight against the commercial oligarchy.
Valued only for her sex appeal and attractiveness, Lust begins;
But is it her name or her meaning, or are they twins?
The overworked pain and deep-set exhaustion, another sleepless night,
caused a never waking Sloth, their never-ending sleep taking over life.
The ceaseless praise, the effortless achievements, preceding a devastating fall;
Slowly, Pride begins to lose what caused their sin.
A pained cry of hunger, the excruciating pangs of an empty stomach withering,
The endless hunger from poverty caused Gluttony to form, his always empty stomach never feeling full.
For a sin is not defined by the actions of the sinner,
But by the causes that afflicted them with their sin.
