chapter 5: (no title)

two days passed wherein i didn't even bother to speak with the girl in fact i did my absolute best to avoid her and the rest of the plantation the only one that had a chance to really speak with me was my cute little sister sakura (02) 

"you know avoiding them wont make them want to accept you" she said i didn't respond

"you don't want them to accept you do you" she asked followed by silence she sighed

"you don't trust them do you" she asked

"no i don't id prefer to go back to 42 but no instead i am stuck here i don't understand what makes them so special all that matters here is you" i said she sighed again

"give them a chance they truly surprised me they accepted me we have a vacation coming up will you join us" she asked i didn't respond

"for me" she asked i turned to her

"alright" i said and she smiled a truly warm and genuine smile

"thank you i promise you will be surprised by them too" she said i scoffed doubting that

"hyacinth will be arriving in four days" i said

"in other words when it arrives you aren't even gonna bother are you" she asked

"nope" i said

"ah there you are 02 oh code 013 your here" hiro said

"is there a problem" i asked

"n-no sir it's just time for dinner up at the birdcage" hiro said i didn't respond and only waved the two off she looked at me sadly

"let's go darling" she said and hiro followed her

"there is a reason he won't trust you not like he trusts me" she said and you could see in her eyes she was in pain she hurt for her brother

"what happened" hiro asked

"whatever you do never trust the 9s" was her only response as she led him to the elevator to the birdcage

"am i doing the right thing runa" i asked to myself as i thought of my partner and the woman i loved

sakura and hiro took their seats at the table for dinner it was surprising to them how quiet sakura was she is never quiet

"hey is there something wrong 02" ichigo asked worriedly

"it's not your concern" sakura replied leaving no room for most others to argue

"i'm trying to help you as leader of the squad i need to care for you" ichigo said sakura scoffed

"i am not the one you should be comforting you arent the only one who lost their partner" was sakura's response as she took her food and left the kitchen

"what does she mean by that" ichigo said in confusion and in anger since sakura has killed several of her partners

"anyone seen code 013" zorome piped up and it dawned on ichigo immediately he lost his partner too but he acted so distant from the rest she didn't just look away her squad like he did she'd get her answers later

sakura had actually taken two helpings before heading for the elevator she knew her brother he most likely hadn't moved from his spot on the catwalk looking over the hanger staring off into space she arrived to find him actually where she thought he was doing exactly what she thought he was doing she silently walked up to him and sat down beside him passing food to him he silently ate with only a nod as thanks but that was enough for her she was his sister after all
