The Place I Hide My Secrets (a Fruits Basket fanfic KyoxTohru)

Chapter 3

-Recap-

Tohru walked into her house after Kyo kissed her and saw her grandfather dead on the floor.  She ran back hugging Kyo sobbing turning him into a cat. Shigure offered for her to stay and we'll see what happens next.

" Oh really!" I say

" We would be glad to. But on one condition."

"Okay."

"Will you be our new house keeper?"

"Sure."

"SHIGURE!" Yuki yelled. " That is rude. "

"Well we won't have to eat your burned food anymore."

" Fine."

" It's ok. I can do that."

"Oh really thank you. " Shigure said. "We have an extra room upstairs."

"Ok let me go get my things."

" Okay. "

I left and got there. After I walked in I set the key on the counter then looked around.  I immediately ran to get to Shigure's house.

I got there and ran up to Kyo's room I swooshed the door open and collapsed sobbing.

He came over to me and asked me what was wrong.

"T-they took everything I had...again."

"This all must be so hard on you."

" Yeah yeah it is."

"I never thought I of all people would end up living with you. "

" Yeah. Since the room your staying in dosent have a bed...do you...want to...you know..................sleep in here with me?"

"Umm....okay. Are you hungry?  I can make you some leek soup if you like."

" ARE YOU CRAZY I HATE LEEK SOUP."

"Oh I'm sorry I...i didn't know."

"Uh. I'm sorry that's not what I meant to say."

" Um...well what do you like?"

"Cod."

"Oh I guess that makes sense considering your a cat."

" I guess you could put it like that."

" Well I'll go make that I'll be right back."

"Ok can you also bring me up a glass of milk?"

"Sure."

I went down to make it and saw that the kitchen was a total wreck. I cleaned it up and made Kyo's meal. And then I went upstairs.

I walked in and Kyo looked like he was about to pass out.

" WHAT THE HELL TOOK YOU SO LONG? " Kyo asked.

" Oh... the kitchen was a mess so I cleaned it up and then cooked this for you." I say handing him the food.

"Oh wait till Shigure sees it."

" Hehe. Where did him and Yuki go anyways?"

"I don't know I think Shigure made Yuki go to Ayami's store."

"Who's Ayami?"

"Oh just Yuki's annoying older brother."

" Oh really? I can't belive Yuki has a brother."
