CHAPTER 19

I stood outside my balcony looking out to the front of the mansion. I lit my cigar and inhaled sharply. My eyes turned to the familiar white car that was puling up on my drive way. I turned around and sat on my desk. 

"So? No trace of her?" Issac was sitting in the chair across from me. He simply closed his eyes and shook his head. I nodded and got back up and watched as more cars came. A few minutes later,  I turned off my cigar. Just then the door busted open. A smile grew on my face as i saw them. 

"Dad!" they yelled as they came closer. I extended my arms and gave them a hug. Right behind them was Dominic. Dominic ran to Issac and gave him a hug.

"Hey champs, were you good to your aunt?" I asked pulling away from them.

"Yes?" She looked like she wasn't sure and giggled making me smile. 

"Aurora, remember what i said about behaving?" i asked and she just nodded.

"Liar. You were so impatient all the way over here" he said rolling his eyes and crossing his arms. I laughed and just then i saw Claire come rushing in. 

"Emilio! Sorry they just couldn't wait to see you. Dominic, Aurora, Xander what did i say about being patient?" She said panting as Sofia and Enrico came with her. They both ran to Issac and hugged him.

"Sorry auntie" they both said at the same time making us all laugh.

"Alright, Lets go down now. We have birthdays to celebrate" I grabbed their small hands and walked out with them. 

"Ya'll are going to turn 9 right?" i asked joking

"Noo! 11!" they both yelled making me laugh.

"Okay Okay sorry!" i said picking them both up. Geez they were getting heavy. 

That's right. Its been 6 years since Athena has been lost. We have all grieved her, well some have. In the end, We found out Claires husband was also involved with the With the enemy. She and Issac got married 3 years ago and even had a kid of their own named Enrico which is 2 years old along with their adoptive son Dominic who is 13. The son of the leader of the Russian mafia. I stayed with my twins Aurora and Xander. I know Athena named him after me but after we found him, He had grown with a different name. 

6 years ago

We just got home from the mansion. Claire was here along with Sara. I got off and Claire rushed to me. 

"Where is she?!" she looked around trying to find her. Her eyes were red and she looked worn out. She had scratches on her face and arms. I tried to turn away but she fell to the floor crying. Issac came to her and comforted her. I turned to Sara and her dress was ripped. 

"When we got to the location Athena gave us, they had the house surrounded. We had to fight to get the kids out. The rest of them are safe inside." I nodded and went inside. Athena wanted me to take care of them. I went in and saw two small girls and two small boys. I recognized one of the girls as Aurora from the pictures. Her eyes shot open when she saw me. She got up and runned to me. 

"Its you! You're finally back!" She gave me a hug and i just stood there. What is she saying? I knelled down and hugged her. After a while i pulled away and we looked at each others face. There's no denying this girl is my daughter. 

Just then Claire, Issac and Sara came in as soon as they were calm. They pulled me away and Claire told me everything. Athena had shown Aurora pictures of me telling her that i was away in an important mission. Athena had made me look like a knight and shining armor to Aurora.
