Will We Lose Each Other?

*Emmas POV*

I was texting Gina that I got home and put my phone back into the pocket of my jeans as I walked inside the house
I saw that the light in the living room was still on so I decided to go tell my parents that I'm home
"I'm home" my mother was cuddling into my father's chest while smiling at me
"sit down for a minute" my father said as he patted the empty space on the couch next to him

I frowned and sat down "did I do something or?..." I asked Jokingly
"No, you got your first therapy session next Tuesday" my father said while looking at me
I nodded and looked at my hands, I noticed my father frowning at me "What?" I asked confused "where were you?"
"at ruby's, I told you" I looked at him "hm" he hummed and nodded

What is going on? "was Regina there too or what?" he asked a little bit more sternly, I got nervous but tried to hide it "No, why? What do you mean dad" he shrugged and looked back at the TV "it just smells familiar in here since you arrived" I rolled my eyes and got up from the sofa "I have no idea what you're talking about, I'll go to sleep, I'm tired"

*Davids POV*

"what was that about?" Mary asked me while looking up, I thought she was asleep "Nothing"
"David?" she sat up and looked at me "What, I just said that she smells familiar also she works with Ruby all day and wants to spend time with her afterwards too? And these 'Rumors' we heard from the principal. Think about it"
I crossed my arms and looked at her, she shook her head and frowned "She told us that those are only rumors, nothing more"

I wanted to say a lot more but I stayed quiet
I didn't want to argue with Mary right now, not about this anyway.

*Emmas POV*
*Tuesday 7:50am*

"Morning rubes" I greeted my brunette friend outside of the diner "Hey chica" she said with a big smile
We often meet here before school starts and buy some coffee or food for school "I'm glad that you're doing better now" I grabbed her arm and squeezed it like men do, she chuckled and nodded
"where's Belle?" I asked confused while sitting down on a stool at the counter
Ruby shrugged "she said she'll wait at school for us" I hummed and waited for my usual

I looked at the door as the little bell above it was ringing "ugh" I groaned as I saw Zelena and Locksley sitting down on a bench "so how are things between you and hottie" Ruby nudged my arm with her elbow
I glared at her and shushed her "Do you want everyone to know or why are you screaming so loud" the brunette chuckled "sorry"

"everything is fine between us..." I drifted off what caused Ruby to look at me in confusion "but?" I shrugged and played with my fingers "well... Her sister Zelena told the principal about us, of course he didn't do anything because there is no evidence... But we almost got caught"
"oh shit for real?" my friend asked shocked

I nodded and grabbed my coffee "but everything is fine now right?"
I shrugged and opened the door to my car "I think so, I hope so"

*10:15am*

Regina was still not here, that's not typical for her. She's always on time
I started getting worried and wanted to text her but the door of the classroom opened

I immediately stiffened as I saw Regina wearing a big Hoodie and normal jeans with sneakers
She never wears stuff like that in school?
I scanned her and noticed that her posture was different today, she looked like she was dejected or sad
I looked at her face and noticed the black circles under her eyes
What is going on?

I wish I could just run to her and help her
"We'll watch a movie today" that's nothing she would ever do on a normal school day in her class "please be quiet and watch it!" she started the movie and sat down at her desk
