Esme potter sat on the slytherin Carriage of the train and sighed as she looked to the article in front of her, she looked to the dark mark that was on the front of the passer and sighed as she sat back in her seat
"are you okay potter" draco malfoy asked as Esmè looked to him and rolled her eyes
"don't potter me it makes me think your talking to my precious brother" Esmè said as draco looked to her and smiled.
Esmè knew how she was the opposite to her brother. She was a slytherin and she had accepted draco hand in friendship due to how the malfoys had taken her in and raised her as if she was their own.
Esmè knew how she appreciated the malfoy for it
"es...you okay" Pansy asked as she looked to her best friend as Esmè through the article of the daily prophet across the table and sighed
"I don't know. I mean I am a a slytherin I am meant to go for what he values right. Well why do I feel so angry over this" Esmè said as draco smiled
"he killed your parents your allowed to be angry. I think people forget that potter may be the boy who lives and stopped him but you lost your parents too. But just so you know father thinks that he could raise again" draco said as Esmè looked to him and smiled

Esmè sat in the great hall as she got to hogwarts. She sat at the table and frowned as she saw Remus lupin was back.
She was shocked as he heard he had resigned and figured that dumbledore had spoke him into staying
"I hear that the wolf is back" draco said as Esmè shot him a glare, Esmè knew how she likes him.
He was a good teacher and she knew how he knew her parents and she felt a comfort in that and she knew how he didn't treat her bad. Like everyone else did.
He respected her even though she was a slytherin and even though she wasn't the chosen one
"leave him alone, he's the best dark arts teacher we had" Esmè said as paddy nodded
"she's right you know" Pansy said as draco rolled his eyes
"whatever" draco said as dumbledore stood to the podium
"Now we're all settled in and sorted, I'd like to make an announcement. This castle will not only be your home this year but home to some very special guests as well. You see Hogwarts has been choosen.." he said as filch ran up the aisle limping in a comical way, he whispers something to Dumbledore and leaves in the same fashion
"So Hogwarts has been choosen to host a legendary event. The Tri-Wizard tournament. Now for those of you who do not know, the tri-wizard tournament brings together three schools for a series of magical contests. From each school a single contestant is selected to compete. Now let me be clear, if choosen you stand alone. And trust me when I say these contests are not for the faint hearted, but more of that later. For now please join me in welcoming the lovely ladies of the Beauxbatons Academy of magic and their headmistress Madam Maxime" dumbledore said as they watched as A group of girls dressed in blue dance up the aisle and release butterflies into the air. They bow and everyone applauds.
"Oh please I could do that, Any of them your type Pansy" Esmè asked as Pansy smirked
"I may be gay but I'd rather date granger" she said as they chuckled
"And now our friends from the north, please greet the proud sons of Durmstrang and the high master Igor Karkaroff" dumbledore said as A series of older boys walk up the aisle brandishing wooden canes, twirling them around and periodically stabbing them into the ground with a spark effect.
Esmè looked to them and rolled her eyes
"not your type I see" Pansy asked as Esmè looked to her and smirked
"to macho for my liking" Esmè said as the two girls smirked

Esme stood walking through the hallways with Pansy as she saw Remus. She looked to Pansy and smiled
"I'll catch you up I have to do something" esme said as Pansy nodded. Esme walked over to Remus and smiled.
"it's good to see you professor I didn't think you'd be back"
"well i thought with the World Cup it would be good besides dumbledore talked me into it. It's good to see you esme" Remus said as esme smiled
"you too"
"Sirius sends his love and he tells both you and Harry to behave" Remus said as esme rolled her eyes.
She knew how Sirius didn't care what house she was. She knew what he'd been through and how he had been judged
"it's good to have you back sir" esme said as Remus smiled
"thank you esme" Remus said.
Neither of them aware how this year at hogwarts everything would change
