Chapter Nine: Sakura the match maker

Sakura's Pov-
"So Ino pig, how was your date?" I sniggered, this so called party wasn't actually that fun. The adults were down stairs talking about being detectives and all their cases. The kids (Me, Ino, Tenten, Neji, Hinata and Naruto) were in my room talking about other stuff.
"It wasn't a date," Ino blushed,
"Sure," I nodded, "what did you do?"
"Um well, we went into star bucks," she began, "we talked-,"
"What about did you talk about?" I ask,
"School, and stuff like that," Ino replied,
"Yeah, yeah, me and Naruto are gonna interrogate Sai on Monday," I smirked,
"I can't believe you went on a date with Sai," Tenten giggled,
"I can't believe it's not butter," Naruto laughed, causing Neji to hit him round the head.
"IT WASN'T A DATE," Ino screeched, we couldn't keep our laughter in as she shouted.
"Any way Sakura," Neji began, "why didn't you invite Sasuke?"
"Well my mum said two of my friends," I lied, "friends before men," I smiled,
"Yay! Love you Forehead!" Ino squealed,
"Just as much as you love Sai?" I poked my tongue out,
"Shut up, your ruining the moment," Ino muttered. I suddenly had an awesome idea, seeing as there was still tension between Tenten and Neji from that picture we took of them. (If you can still remember that) I could get them to cut that tension and be a couple! That would be so kawaii!! I couldn't do it alone though, maybe I should ask someone to help. Yes, Ino would gladly help. how do I get Ino to come out with me without Tenten and Neji.
"Who wants a drink?" I asked,
"Yes!" Naruto obviously wanted something, "what is there?"
"Baka you said yes before you even knew what there was!" I shouted, "We only have swamp water,"
"Seriously?!" Naruto said,
"No Baka!" I said,"Why would be drink swamp water!?"
"I don't know! Get me pepsi!" Naruto whined,
"Get it yourself!" Oh yeah, I forgot what I was trying to do. "But i don't trust you to not smash anything so your lucky,"
"So mean Sakura-chan!" Naruto sulked, I stuck my tongue out at him. "And immature," he laughed, I playfully punched his arm.
"Any one else want anything?" I asked,
"Can I have Pepsi too please?" Tenten asked,
"Sure,"
"Can I?" Neji asked,
"No,"
"Why?" Neji asked confused,
"Say the magic word Hyuga," I teased,
"Please," Neji turned his head embarrassed,
"Thanks," I laughed, "Hinata?"
"N-no thankyou," the shy girl said,
"Pig?" I asked,
"Bring me milk slave," Ino laughed,
"Hell no," I said,
"Okay, please bring me milk slave," Ino smirked,
"That changes nothing, any way Pig come with me because I can't carry all of this," I said,
"Fine," Ino moaned and got up.

When we were away from everyone else I told Ino about getting Tenten and Neji together.
"It's all good trying to get them together," Ino began, pouringout milk for herself, "do you even have a plan."
"Um no, that's why I'm asking you," I replied,
"Right," Ino thought for a second, "how about we play dares-"
"No I'm sick of that bloody game," I interuppted,
"Okay, how about we lock them in a room together," Ino suggested.
"Yes!" I shouted, "we can lock them in the spare bedroom!"
"How do we get them in there?" Ino asked,
"We could be playing a game or something," I suggested,
"We can play hide and seek and get Neji and Tenten to hide in the same place!" We were to excited about this.
"Yosh! Let's do this!" I giggled.

"I'm bored," Ino sighed, that was the first step of the plan, it would make Naruto say:
"Yeah, let's do something fun!" So I would say:
"Let's play hide and seek," and hope everyone would agree with me. Apparently this was all to much for luck to be on our side. We hoped everyone would want to play, but Mr Hyuga was to mature for this (but apparently not for truth and dares).
"Come on Neji!" Naruto whined,
"Please! I got you a drink!" I begged,
"D-don't be boring N-Neji-nii-San," I don't think Hinata really wanted to play either, but was persuaded by the fact Naruto was playing.
"Come on Neji it will be fun!" Tenten asked.
"Err, fine," Neji sighed defeated,
"Dibs not counting first!" Naruto shouted. So childish.
Says the one who wanted to play the game.
Shut up.
"D-dibs," Hinata copied Naruto,
"Dibs!" I shouted,
"Dibs," Neji sighed at to childishness.
"Dibs!" Tenten laughed,
"Dibs," Ino smiled, you might of read this is 30 secounds but it happened in the space of five.
"Ino your not supposed to say it last," I laughed,
"Right, so I'm counting?" Ino asked,
"Yup, to 60, let's go Dattebayo!" Naruto shouted getting up and running out the room, followed quickly by Hinata, Tenten and Neji. I winked to Ino as I followed the crowd out of my bedroom. Naruto was first to hide under my parents bed, I wasn't bothered as long as he didn't make a mess. Hinata hid behind the cupboard giggling like a child. Neji and Tenten stood in the corridor, undecided on their hiding place.
"Quick in there!" I whispered, gesturing the couple to the smallest room. They entered, thinking I was going to lead them to a hiding place. When they were both in I slammed the door shut and locked it. "Sakura!" I heard Tenten shout when I locked the door. I didn't reply instead entering my parents room and hid in the wardrobe.

Tenten POV-

Damn Sakura! Why did she lock the door, now I was stuck with Neji in this room.
"I will kill her," I muttered,
"Relax," Neji said, sitting down in the desk chair.
"Neji do you know why they did this?" I asked with a small blush,
"No, why?" He asked,
"So clueless," I whispered,
"What?" He asked,
"Nothing," I smiled,
"They have to let us out at one point," Neji leaned back on the chair. His brown hair swayed as he did this and his lilac eyes sparkled in the sunset visible out the window. Wow he was hot, wait what am I thinking! Neji would never choose me! He has so many Fangirls, that are so much cuter then me. I sighed and sat on the side of the bed, how long until they let us out, it feels so awkward.
"Tenten," he said,
"What?" I answered straight away,
"Why did they lock us in here?" He asked,
"Um Neji," I muttered, "well... They think, they want,"
"What?" He asked,
"Theythinkweshouldbeacouple," I answered without and breaks,
"Say that again?" He looked at me confused,
"They think... That was should start dating," I sighed,
"Oh," he looked at the floor. I thought about it, maybe I should just tell him how I feel. I don't want to seem like a Fangirl. To be honest, I don't like him for how incredibly hot he is. He has that kind of personality, not to out going but when you get to know him he is caring. It's what I love about him. Maybe I should-
"Tenten I have confession," Neji began, blood rushed to my cheeks, as I looked at him I realised he was blushing too. "Um, I guess, you could say, I..." He didn't know what to say, "I like you, a lot,"
"Really?" I asked blushing like Hinata around Naruto.
"Yeah," his lilac eyed looked at me, "um do you feel the same?" I looked at him like it was the most obvious thing in the world,
"Neji, I have liked you for ages," I smiled.
"Really? Then..." Neji began, his face was getting refer by the second. Without realising I had got up and moved towards to embarrassed Hyuga. He stared at me, wondering what I was going to do. I bent over and my lips met his red cheeks.
"Neji, please go out with me," I asked, like any fangirl would, but it wasn't the same.
"Isn't the boy suppose to ask the girl?" Neji asked smirking,
"It makes no difference," I looked at him, "I've told you before-,"
"Yes," he interrupted, I looked at him as he stood up, "I will go out with you Tenten,"
"Good," I smiled, trying to stay casual, but inwardly screaming. He was taller then me so when he moved closer to me it was scary but exciting. He leaned closer to me, should I let him? Oh god, oh god oh god, is he really going to... Kiss me? I stared into his eyes as his lips moved closer to mine. Any second now, aaah! Our lips met as he wrapped his hands around my waist. It was as if the world stopped, just for us. I put my arms around his neck and kissed him back. I could feel all the butterflies in my stomach fly away and all my troubles disappear. I was Neji Hyuga's girl friend.

Sakura's POV-

Of course Ino found Naruto first, the idiot could not help himself from laughing, and that was after his mobile started to ring. Ino could probably sense my presence and opened to wardrobe to see hiding behind all my mums clothes. Hinata was last because she was the quietest, or Ink was stupid and didn't see the top of the shy girls head.
"I wonder where Neji and Tenten are?" I winked at Ino,
"I wonder," Ino laughed,
"Maybe we should look for them," I smirked, we went to the locked room, Hinata and Naruto followed, and knocked on the door. "Tenten, Neji what's going on?" I asked trying to be serious, after a moment of silence.
"You locked us in that's what's going on," Tenten shouted back,
"Okay, not awkward between you two," Ino asked, we heard some whispering on the other side of the door.
"Actually Ino it's not," we heard Tenten say,
"Afraid your plan your worked, me and Tenten are going out," Neji said calmly,
"OMG!" Me and Ino squealed jumping around stupidly,
"Kawaii!" Hinata squealed, me and Ino high fives while Naruto sighed mumbling, 'girls.'
"I'm gonna go call back that person," Naruto told as walked back into my room.
"Can you let us out?" Tenten asked,
"Fine," I said unlocking the door. We went back into to my room.
"See ya Monday," Naruto said putting down the phone,
"Who was that?" Ino asked,
"Sasuke," Naruto replied, "he said he was bored and alone, his brothers at a job interview for Akatsuki or something."
I looked at Ino, she looked at me, abit frightened. oh god. Isn't where Deidara said he worked?
