-Tsunami

Naruto threw the door open. Sasuke jumped with the others.

"So.. fucking.. tired."

Naruto and Sasuke laid Kakashi on the floor before groaning at the pain in their backs.

"Where were you two?! And what happened to Kakashi-sensei?!"
Inari looked up as Narutos back cracked like he was breaking it.
"Well while we were fighting a rouge ninja with our idiotic sensei who thinks using all of his chakra in his eye is a great idea, than we had to carry him back while using sensory to find all of you!"
Inari clenched his fists. "There are more?"

Tsunami looked at her son and sighed.

"Inari."
He jumped off of the table and stomped upstairs. Naruto and Sasuke shared a look.
"Who the hells the kid?" Naruto questioned and Sasuke put their shoes neatly by the door.
"My grandson." Tazuna grumbled.
"Oh... well can one of you adults help me get Kakashi to a room?"
Itachi stood and grabbed Kakashis arm before disappearing in crow feathers.
'Why can't my shun-shin be that cool?' Naruto and Sasuke complained.

Naruto took a seat across from Sasuke. Awkward silence filling the room.

"My names Naruto, I'm one of the Genin on this team. This is Sasuke." Naruto introduced.
"Oh yes I'm Tsunami and my son is Inari."
"The one who stormed upstairs?"
Tsunami nodded.
"What's his problem anyway?!" Sakura questioned.
"Seeing your ugly face."
Sakura glared at Naruto while Minato sighed. "Naruto please she's your step-sister."
Naruto shrugged.
Tsunami sighed. "He's just been that way since his father died."
Tazuna grunted. "Most of my workers have quit for that exact reason."
Naruto raised an eyebrow as Itachi came down and sat beside Sasuke.
"What the hells a death got to do with your workers quitting?"
"Naruto." Minato sighed.
"It's alright.. it was my husband, he wasn't really Inaris father but he truly treated him well. He was killed by some bandits a man named Gato hired."
"The village has lived in fear ever since, Kaiza was the villages hero."
Naruto sipped on the tea and sat it down. "So one man dies and everyone loses hope.. seems like a movie if I'm being honest."
Sasuke looked at Naruto who didn't seem interested or the least bit sorry for them.
"Kaiza was a great man-" Tazuna defended.
"And I didn't say he wasn't. All I'm saying is that you can't have one main pole to hold a society. It's like our village, the hokage isn't just the main pole, there are the Anbu and the other ranks of shinobi. Our village wouldn't lose hope even if some of those poles fell."
"We aren't a fancy village."
"And our village isn't small. Small villages know everyone and everyone knows everything. Those bonds are what build a pole to keep the village standing. The pole left and now thrones crowd around the streets. One man is the symbol of hope and one man is destruction. You can't have one man be the symbol while you cowered behind him because in the end he is only one man."
Naruto leaned back. "That's why you have children with back bones, spines. You learn to have courage and you don't let what others say or do effect you..."
Naruto looked at Tazuna. "And that's why you wanted us to stay. This mission is an A-rank, we're 5 Genin that three Jonin have to protect. You let one Genin get killed, it's on their hands, if they let something terrible happen to this village, it's one their hands. You screwed us over because you either couldn't afford a higher rank or didn't bother to pay for one. When you stated it was a C-rank you put five children in danger and three Jonin, three very valuable Jonin."
Naruto stood.
"I'll protect my comrades, but your people aren't my concern."

Naruto walked out and Itachi sighed.
"I hate when he gets like that."
"I've never seen him get like that."
Itachi looked down at Sasuke.
"Don't worry about it little brother Naruto only rambles about things."
'Yeah but... was he really rambling?'

Sasuke laid on the left outer side with Naruto beside him. Mizo was already passed out on the right outer side, his blanket completely off and body spread out.
He sighed and turned to Naruto who laid on his stomach, hugging the small pillow.

"Naruto."
"Hm?"
"What were you talking about earlier?"
Naruto looked at Sasuke. "Why? You don't seem to really care about anything I do."
"I'm just wondering. You went off on that family when it's completely normal for them to be saddened about a main part of their family being dead."
"Really?.. well I didn't know."
"You have a family."
"That could care less." Naruto sighed. "Minato may seem to care but he only cares when we're around people. His wife even rips me off so I can barely afford food just because she's a council member."
Sasuke stuffed his arm under his pillow to give him more leverage. "What you said earlier... do you really pity them?"
"I don't pity anyone. I just hate when people lean on someone in specific. If you lean on someone they'll leave or hurt you and that'll leave you broken and than someone like that Gato person will be able to take over and get anything he wants."
Naruto clenched his pillow.
"You talk as if you have experience."
"I do have experience." Naruto looked at Sasuke and for the first time Sasuke saw something more than naiveness in Narutos eyes. "I wasn't raised with a family, my mother was killed because Minato refused to help keep the seal stable on her stomach as she gave birth. I was put in an orphanage where I was abused and every villager looks at me with hatred in their eyes... but I'm the jinchuriki, I'm a weapon, Kurama is a weapon. They keep me around because I can protect them even if I die they can find a new jinchuriki. An Uzumakis role is to be the jinchuriki of the nine tails, that is what the Leaf keeps us around for.
"I leaned on someone and thought they cared about me but I am terrified of a jingle from a fucking bell because of that same person. I want to kill Minato because of that person. I have the biggest blood lust you could ever imagine because of that person. I can barely control my chakra because of that person...
"If you lean on one person nothing good can come from it, that's why I want to become a Chunin. When I'm a Chunin I can act on my own and not lean on someone to have my back, I don't have to worry about someone judging my actions because I'll be doing missions alone."
"What about a family?"
"You lean on lovers."
"That's not necessarily a bad thing."
"What if they got hurt or died? You wouldn't be able to think of anything except that and would be killed or hurt as well."
"Well that's just one risk for having someone."
"... Than I'd rather die alone in my ruined apartment."

Naruto turned around and Sasuke frowned. He sighed and turned onto his other side.
He'd try to talk to Naruto in the morning.
