The Little Beacon (GT DNF Merman AU)

Ch 1 - A New Beacon

For millions of years, a Beacon is born from a single drop from the sun. It sinks into the surface and a life form is created based on where it touches

The life form is none other than a merman or a mermaid. Every millions of years or longer, a new Beacon is born to complete the prophesies of the kingdoms in the oceans

Today is supposed to be the final day, for today will be the last Beacon in present. Some were born young, some old, some wise, some mixed, some male, and some female

Every Beacon had a different ability, different colored tails, personalities, looks, and styles, but the one thing that never changed was their size

The Beacon is meant to be a tiny mermaid or merman. They are like this in case of dangers, for they can swim quicker than human sized merfolk

Their age was also different. The youngest was at the age of 21, and the oldest was at age 50, but they still were respected by the kingdoms and protected, no matter their age

As the last drop of sun sunk into the ocean, it avoided everything from the sea floor. It didn't touch a seaweed, a clam, treasure, corals, shells, or anything

Instead, it found a lime green crystal which glows at night. The drop touched the crystal, making it into the form of a merman

Young, blonde hair, nice toned torso, a long, beautiful lime green tail with the shiniest of scales, and the fins transparent and his eyes in the brightest of emerald green, enough to mesmerize anyone

The merman sighed as he looked around, seeing he was in the deep sea. "Where...am I?" he asks as he looks around

Usually, fish are normal size to us and merfolk, but to every Beacon, fish are giants, and sharks and whales to them are like the Meg

He watched fish swim to him and nuzzle their new Beacon. "Aww! How cute!" He giggled in the most childish way, making the fish astonished by his actions

This Beacon really made their day, for they helped the Beacon stand and swim. He swam with them and noticed it was going from dark to a brighter blue

"What is this?" he asks as he notices the ocean was in different colors. Different fish, coral, and sands were around as he watched schools of fish swimming past him

Another thing, some Beacons are lucky to have the ability to talk to animals of any kind - ocean, surface, or air, and he was one of them

"Is that him?!?!" the school asked as the merman waved. They all squealed and had hearts floating around them, making the new Beacon uncomfortable

"Hi, do you know what's my purpose?" he asks as the fish gathered around him. They looked big to him, but at least non will harm him

"You're the Beacon! You are the only one who can go to every kingdom in the sea! They're all waiting for you!"
