Ch 2 - Dance With Magic

Dream swam away from the kingdom, tired of the fun he had. The ocean was dark, and he looked up, seeing night above the surface

"Hello? God of the Surface? Is there anything I should know? Any dangers?" Dream asks, but no answer came. Just...silence

The Beacon sighed and swam into a field of seaweed. It's the safest place for him due to predators getting coiled or lost in too much seaweed

He went on the floor, he closed his eyes, and during the time of his sleep, magic swirls of every color swirled around him, then spreading like a star

The magic swam around, making every animal and creature of the sea look at the magic flowing around. Some bowed to the swirls, others danced happily, some slept peacefully, and the kingdoms who spotted the magic, they wasted no time in preparing for his arrival

"The Beacon is here! He'll come for our prophesies! We must clean this kingdom! He must not see the filthy castle!" The queen of another kingdom said as all merfolk swam as fast as they could, cleaning every scrap

The swirls even reached the frozen oceans. The whales, orcas, kingdoms, and other sea creatures stared in awe as the magic swirled around them

"The Beacon has been awoken! We will make sure it gets some warmth if the little one travels from the warm seas!" a king of the frozen side of the oceans said as they all prepared as much as they could

Not only his magic awed the merfolk, but also the animals. At the sight of his magic, fish danced along and swirled around as it flowed quickly, faster than them

Even the predators bowed seeing his magic. They respect the Beacon, and even though they can be his natural enemy, they choose to protect and not attack

Every arrival of the Beacon, predators promise to never hunt him down, because if he were to get killed in any way, doom will strike, an armageddon will arrive

The swirls were now starting to soften in color as they watched it become like mist, then finally disappear into the shadows of the oceans

Dream wakes up and stretches. He looked to see seaweed flowing calmly and the merman swam out of the sea of seaweed

He noticed schools of fish surrounded him and he welcomed them. "We'll help you get to the farthest side of the ocean, my Beacon! Follow us!" The school said and Dream swam along with them

He knew the journey to the frozen seas would be tough, and he's glad he has friends to help him with his travels, but it's actually everyone in the sea

The fish circled around him and they swam for miles. Dream felt his eyes getting heavy and slowly fell, but the school caught him and were forming a bed-like for him

Magic swirled around him as the fish gently placed him on the sand. The magic was around him, dancing freely and they swam along with them
