Hello everyone, 

Thank you so much for reading this story! I really appreciate everyone's kind words. This is one of my longest-running singular books and the fact that it got the attention that it did played a massive role in my writing as a hobby. 

I have lots of ideas for this book, but I need to be completely honest when I say that I originally had no intention of writing 66 chapters, nor do I think that I can provide the time or energy to finish what I started at this point in time. This brings me to the announcement that this book is officially on hiatus. 

I started Shadows of Devotion in the middle of a very long Harry Potter hyperfixiation. This hyperfixiation has since passed and with it my motivation to continue this story. It is not closed permanently, but I will be marking it as completed for organizational purposes. If I ever rekindle my love for this book (and all of its poorly written, cringe bits) I would love to continue writing it.

Until then, however, this is goodbye.
