*Y/n's POV*
Y/n follows Fervyn down to where Kodlak's room was. She has already caught a few of the Companions whispering as her and Fervyn walked by. She knew they were talking about the sparring match between her and Vilkas. She was starting to have second thoughts about staying at Jorrvaskr.
"Don't worry about it," said Fervyn. "You have me to back you up if anything happens."
"How did you know I was having second thoughts?" Y/n asks.
"Your facial expression changed and you kinda zoned out. Like I said don't worry." Fervyn heads into Kodlak's room. Y/n follows after Fervyn.
Kodlak was waiting for Fervyn and Y/n.
"Well done, Y/n," said Kodlak once her and Fervyn entered the room. "Was not expecting you to fight against Vilkas like the way you did. You are welcome to join the Companions. Unfortunately the only bed that is available is Fervyn's. That is if you don't mind?"
"I don't sleep here in Jorrvaskr anymore. I spend too much time out on the road to rest enough at Jorrvaskr, let alone at Breezehome as well."
"Yet you are still planning on going to Riften, aren't you?"
"Yes, sir. I just have to go back to High Hrothgar and I'll be coming back to Whiterun for Y/n. I'm hoping that during our travels that something will trigger the return of her memories."
"Then you best not keep the Grey Beards waiting any longer. Before you go, take Y/n to your old room here. She needs to rest up before she starts to help the Companions."
*Fervyn's POV*
"Yes, sir," said Fervyn. He motions for Y/n to follow him out of Kodlak's room. He waits for her to leave the room before he shuts the door behind them. "I'll be gone for more than a few days. Things came up. I'll tell you more later but in the meantime try not cause too much trouble, okay?"
"Why can't you take me with you?" Y/n asks.
"You still need to rest from your sparring match with Farkas. Plus it will be safer for you here."
Y/n frowns. She kinda didn't want Fervyn to leave. But she knew his role as the Dragonborn had him travel across Skyrim to find a way to stop Alduin.
"As soon as I return to Whiterun, we'll make our way to Riften. And then we'll decide what to from there. I'll tell you what is going on when we leave Whiterun, okay?" Fervyn leads Y/n to his old room in Jorrvaskr. "It's not much but it was at one point home." He opens the door. Inside the room was a bed, wash basin, nightstand, bookcase, and a cupboard.
"Feels kinda small," said Y/n before she starts to look around the room.
"You have to start somewhere. Even if you have to start somewhere small. I have to go now, Y/n. I'll see you when I return." Fervyn bids Y/n good-bye before he leaves. Fervyn heads back upstairs and leaves Jorrvaskr. On his way outside, he ends up bumping into Vilkas.
"Why did you bring her here?!" Vilkas growls.
"Y/n needs help getting back home and getting her memories back!" Fervyn snaps. He could feel his wolf beginning to stir.
"She's not even from around here! She's from Nirn! No one can fight like she can! Even Orcs cannot fight like her!"
"Y/n is still our guest and I've made it my responsibility to take care of her!"
"I still see no reason to help her if she's from Nirn."
"When I come back to Whiterun and I find out you'll hurt her, not even Farkas can save your hide!" Fervyn hissed. He walks away from Vilkas before a fight could start between them. He leaves Whiterun and makes his way towards the carriage driver.
Fervyn pays the carriage driver to take him to Riften. Besides the Thieve's Guild, there were a few other things Fervyn needed to take care of. He climbs into the back of the carriage. "A few days to Riften, a few days there, off to Ivarstead, and a few days to return to Whiterun. Sorry, Y/n, I won't be back for a while. Try to stay out of trouble."
*Y/n's POV*
Y/n lays in Fervyn's old bed. Which was now hers. She had the door to the room closed so she could enjoy some peace and quiet. Now she had a place to stay for the time being, the next thing that Y/n needed to work on was trying to find a way to contact the outside world. But the question was how was she going to be able to contact her brother and how would she do it. She didn't even think she could do it. "I need to get in contact with the outside world. My brother needs to know I am okay," said Y/n to herself. She rolls over in bed so she could face the wall. "Plus I need to find a way to earn some Septims if I am able to buy better gear or supplies to make better gear later on."
Y/n made sure to change out of her armor before laying down. She managed to find some clothes in the cabinet but they were men's clothes. They were slightly baggy and smelled weirdly of some kind of spice. Y/n didn't know what kind of spice it was but what whatever it was, she thought it smelled good. "Maybe Fervyn liked to cook to the point that what he cooked with, whatever the smell the spices were, clung to his clothes." She pulls the wool blanket over her. "Odd how Fervyn doesn't match any of the load-outs of the characters I created in Skyrim, as well as the one I created as a test with the VR gear. Maybe the the program created a character to run..." Y/n yawns for sleep was beginning to take over her. It wasn't much longer before Y/n falls asleep.
