It was cold.
It was dark.
The house was still in tact, but I could no longer call it a home.
Where did everyone go?
Everything was gone.
The furniture
The useless gadgets that our father would bring back after his travels to show us
The tea leaves that my mother would ever so delicately pick and store in a jar.
Everyone
But me
Why would they leave?
Did they not like me anymore?
It was darker.
No wind came in or out.
I no longer need anyone.
Their existence was a mere obstacle that I could easily overcome.
All they would do, in the end, was leave anyway.
My only purpose anymore is to be loyal to my nation and be sure that it stays in a perpetual state of eternity.
A simple traveller, risking it all for a vision that's not theirs
The ability to use the elements without a vision
They get in the way of the almighty shogun's pursuit.
And an enemy of eternity,
is an enemy of mine.
