~a special confession~

It's been about a month since you've "moved in" Steven's home.

And since then... things have actually been quite peaceful. Maybe even more so. And in that time, you've managed to get to know more about him and his team of caretakers, who you now know as the Crystal Gems.

Garnet's a fusion between a ruby and a sapphire, something that's actually quite impressive since you've never heard of a fusion between two different gems.

She's actually quite civil with you both, often greeting you both if she goes outside, whether it be for a mission, grocery shopping, or just joining steven in his conversations with you. She appears most interested in your relationship together, since she's never seen corrupted gems behave like this. However, due to her sapphire future vision, she can see the multiple ways she could set Centipeedle off, so she's often standing at a distance from your nest or cuts things short when Centipeedle shows signs of impatience.

Centi tolerated her, but she's still bitter about the gem punching her when they first met.

Ameythyst was an interesting gem, because she was actually quite spunky and laid back. She was also quite quick to enjoy having you both around. She often hung out with you with steven. She'd also ask a lot of questions like steven, only they were a bit more difficult to answer since they were questions like What's it like being corrupt or something of that degree. You knew she didn't mean anything by it, but you still found it hard to answer.

Centi found it easier to warm up to Ameythyst, but sometimes her spunk can trigger her protective instincts, preventing Ameythyst from getting too close to the nest.

Pearl wasn't exactly thrilled with you to say the least. In fact she didn't even want to try to interact with you. And whenever she did have come near your nest, she always had her weapon with her at all times. She didn't even acknowledge you by name half the time, only correcting herself when Steven "reminded" her. While this did make you feel somewhat guilty, you felt that it wasn't from malice, but more uncertainty.

Of course, your discomfort with the pearl didn't go unnoticed by Centi, and she'd growl every time pearl would look your direction.

Finally... there was steven. Of course he offered you the upmost hospitality to you. He was just so bubbly and cheerful, and was sweet enough to try and assist with your readjusting, occasionally bringing you snacks and even taught you some human customs. You couldn't help but love him to bits.

While Centipeedle has warmed upto the boy and is grateful for his assistance, she can't help but feel conflicted with him. On one hand, she can't help but trust this child; he's been so helpful and kind to the both of you, and even spared you a poofing! But at the same time, whenever he mentioned his mother, Rose Quartz, she couldn't help but feel a sense of unease. It sounded familiar, but she didn't know why.

Overall, while you both managed to garner a substantial amount of trust in the group, there was still a tense air about you.

Nevertheless, you both knew that if you were staying here, you should at least notify your new landlords about a few new tenants that'll be moving in soon...

So one evening during a specific chatting session with your youngest landlord...

"--and that's how to you make snack sushi!" Steven finished, smiling widely as you popped one of the small snacks into your mouth. "So what do you think?"

You munched on them for a bit, analyzing the many flavors that danced across your tongue at the moment. "..not bad." You grinned in satisfaction. "Nice spicy aftertaste."

"Almost most tasty than those chip things!" Centi chirps, pouring tossing a few morsels into her open maw, and noisily chomped down on the homemade snacks, making sure to avoid getting residue in the nest or on you.

Steven beamed proudly. "I knew you'd like them!" He giggled in a gleeful, childlike manner, as he produced another container of the homemade goods, smiling gleefully as you eagerly took it. "You've been liking a lot of my cooking lately!"

You blushed slightly in a sense of modesty as you stared down at the small snack in your paw. "They... sooth (name)'s... cravings."

Steven blinked and tilted his head. "Cravings?" His smile was still there, but now it had a curious undertone to it. "What kind of cravings?"

It was probably an unwitting question, but you still grunted in hesitance as you exchanged weary glances with Centipeedle. "Er... steven... we have a confession to make." You muttered looking back at him with a faint blush on your cheeks.

Steven's smile dimmed slightly, as concern started to glimmer in his eyes. "What's up...?"

"Well..." You took a deep breath. "Truth is... we weren't alone with our endeavor to find a dry, sturdy home." The heat in your face intensified as you averted your gaze, to itch your chest fluff. "There's... there's a gonna be a few more gems coming..."

The kid's eyes widened in alarm. "More gems coming?" Instinctively, his eyes darted back and forth in an absentminded attempt to locate the said gems. "W-well... where are the others..?"

"Well... uhm... not here." You uttered. In turn, the child tipped his head, furrowing his brow in complete confusion now.

You whined lightly, throwing a glance back at Centipeedle for permission. She was hesitant, but she gave a small nod to you.

And with a deep breath...

...you rolled over to you were laying on your side, bringing your well swollen midriff into view.

"..not yet at least."

Yeaaah, sorry if the last part brought discomfort to anyone, but there is no light way of writing about someone who's revealing they're with gemlings.

Anyhow with that out of the way, let's get to the oneshots and preferences~
