"So this world is truly what I wished for?" Rin looked over at Shirou with a raised brow. The both of them the next day went out on a stroll to discuss a few things.

"If what you wished for was any utopia of sorts. Then I would say yes."

"..." Rin stared down at her reflection in her coffee. Blinking a bit.

"It seems like the Holy Grail War, any mention of it is nonexistent. Yet Magecraft still exists in this world."

"Hmph. Such a shame, magecraft is always troubling. Even if this world is at peace." Rin mumbled.

"Though I'm just confused for how Sir Gawain turned out to be Saber's father, while Sir Lancelot and Kay are here older brothers, Sir Bedivere being the youngest."

"Really now? W-wait... How?"

"Who knows? I'm just as confused." Shirou shrugged. "Sometimes, I still find it surreal that I'm here if I'm being honest. Any time I drift off into rest, I feel like I'll wake up on the battlefield once again."

"It's that horrible huh?" Rin frowned.

"Maybe. But sometimes things like this feel too good to be true. That Alaya is playing a trick on me again."

"And what about this world's me?"

"Still the same as ever. Hot-headed and easy to anger. More tsuntsun than deredere—"

WACK

"Poor choice of words... Really poor choice of words." Rin glared down at Shirou. "I'm not sure how to feel about this side of you."

"Ngh... If it makes you feel any better, at least she's you from when you were younger and not old—"

"EH?! What are you trying to say now?! That I'm old?!"

"To be fair... Never mind. Anyway, I'm old too."

"But you're physically younger still."

"And yet I still feel old."

"And that's because you're mentally older."

The two of them calmed down.

"Well... At least in this world, you and Sakura are closer." Shirou said.

"..." Rin looked down at her coffee as she went quietly. "Sakura huh?" Rin thought back to the past, her gaze softening as a flash of guilt was seen on her face.

"How... Is she?" Rin said to Shirou.

"Happier than she ever could be." Shirou grimly said. "Zouken Matou is not alive. Well, I mean he probably was, but not as a horrible worm. Shinji is here too."

"Shinji..."

"Surprisingly. He's not an asshole."

"Oi. Emiya."

"Shinji?"

"How about you go to the arcade later with the rest of us."

"Come on Emiya! It'll be fun!"

"Yeah! Plus we can check out the chicks nearby!"

"Sorry. I'm busy as always."

"Alright. Make sure not to overwork yourself!"

"That... Does not sound like Shinji at all."

"Believe me. I was in disbelief as well." Shirou said. "But going back to the main topic. Yes, Sakura is alright."

"That's a relief."

"Hmph. It seems like in this world, your father didn't give her away to the Matou family unlike in ours. So she remains to be your sister to the fullest."

"You mean."

"Yeah. The two of you are inseparable together. And her hair and eyes are just the same colors as yours. Wow is it weird not seeing purple instead."

"..." Rin thinks back to the time when both she and Sakura were children.

"I never knew my mom. So it's weird having one in this life that spoils and gloats you a lot you know? Not to mention Leysritt, Sella is here too, still maids yet they're both kinda... Lazy."

"Eh..."

"Illya is here too... And so is dad."

"This truly is a perfect world then, huh?" Rin asked in a bit of disbelief. "If anything, I feel a bit envious of this world that didn't have to suffer through what we did."

"Hmph..." Shirou closed his eyes as he crossed his arms. "Not everyone can have it their way sadly. But sometimes, magic is bullshit. Besides, pupil for Zelretch huh? I suspect that's how you knew about my past situation?"

"... I came to him for help. He showed me everything of what you've been up to. To say the least, I would have never thought you'd go that far for that ideal."

"If stubborn and desperate enough, you'd be surprised someone would willingly sell their soul."

"..."

"Well, did you at least get to see me being older?"

"I'm still not sure how to feel about you being taller and muscular."

"I miss that look. I can't stand my young face you know?"

"White hair and tanned skin surprisingly suits you. Though I can never imagine you looking like that. If anything else, the two appearances look like separate people."

"Hmph. That was a side effect from my magecraft." Shirou rolled his eyes, crossing his arms as he thought about it.

"Side effect?" Rin asked with a raised brow.

"Well... I wasn't the best mage. You already know that though."

"Of course, you're a third-rate at best."

"And I still am." Shirou said with a smile. "Though I guess you can say it was a side effect since I strained my body by overusing Projection magecraft. The strain would eventually cause pieces of my skin to darken, and my hair to slowly bleach white. I was a novice and didn't know best. Each time I would be on the brink of death now that I think about it. Hmm, such is the way of life I suppose."

"Hmm..." Rin couldn't help but judge Shirou.

"What? Did I say something wrong?" Shirou was confused at the frown upon Rin's face. He didn't say anything wrong... Did he?

"That horrible self-destructive mind of yours never left, has it?"

"So that's what you're judging me about."

"I need to work on getting you to care for yourself. I gave up once, and I regret it. I won't give up again, not with this opportunity given to me."

"The meddling Tohsaka Rin saving the third-rate. How amusing it is. But... If anything else, you saved me from that path of eternal agony if I'm being honest. Hmph... You have my thanks, Tohsaka." Shirou said with a smile.

"..."

"Looks like I completely froze her with just appreciation." Shirou couldn't help but snort in amusement. Staring at the frozen magi as he closed his eyes and took a sip from his drink. "Also I have surprising news that might shock you."

"What more will you have to say that will shock me?"

"Kotomine Kirei." Shirou stared at Rin. "Is a ramen shop owner." He said bluntly.

...

...

"EHHHHHH?!"
