It had been about two weeks since the expedition found the new mammal.
And it had arrived to a laboratory to be thawed.Judy and Nick were called to the lab to keep guard.
The giant chunk of ice was set on a heated table.
It began dripping as it melted away.
What revealed underneath was a mostly Furless, bipedal creature.
"Look at it's digits!" Said one of the black bear scientists. Holding up it's... Paw?
It had 5 fingers which was different than a normal zootopian paw.The scientist removed the strange garment on the creature's... Hind paws. They didn't look like paws at all. They had almost no fur, and they had a round point at the back and small lumps at the front. Five lumps. Just like it's fingers.
Then it's "paw" twitched.
It began breathing. It opened it's eyes.
(Mark's pov)
I woke up in a strange lab. My eyesight was blurry. I rubbed my eyes but it didn't help.
I wanted to go back to sleep but I fought to stay awake.
"Oh god, what happened?" I asked whoever else was in this room."How is it alive?" Asked the scientist.
"Apparently it can speak as well" said another.
"It sounds male" said another voice.
I got up off the table and managed to balance on my two feet. It felt like I hadnt used my legs in over a million years.
"Excuse me, are you alright?" Asked a female voice.
I rubbed my eyes, trying to find where the voice came from.
"Down here" she said.
I looked down to see a small shadow.
It took some adjusting to realize... It was a talking rabbit
