「Third Person」

Today seemed to be better than other days. Well, for Hinata anyway. He was usually stressing out about some of the most trivial things, however, today he pushed it aside and finally went out for a walk, considering the temperature was cool and the sun was out. It was so obvious how Hajime stood out in a crowd- well- for his ordinary looks- that is.

Where he got his education from- Hope's Peak Academy. A school for the talented- yeah- you get where I'm going with this. He's ordinary. He only paid to enroll.

As he walked further and further, he noticed a particular flower bed, it was gorgeous. He kneeled down and admired them.

「Hajime's POV」

These are lilacs... they're so beautiful... I wonder who grew them. I reached out to touch one until.

WHACK!

"So you're the kid who's been picking my flowers, is that correct?" I stared at the girl standing behind me, dumbfounded. "Speak up, I don't have all day you know?" I sighed and rubbed my head. "Wrong guy, I'm just a reserve course student" the girl tilted her head and kneeled down next to me

"Oh, so you were just looking at them?" I nodded "sorry then..." there was an awkward silence, but she didn't seem to mind. "What's your name?" She almost fell over, startled by my voice interrupting the silence. "Again, sorry, it's [F/N] [L/N], how about you?" She asked, her eyes were still fixated on the lilacs. "Hajime Hinata, judging by how you came from the other building-" she turned her head "the ultimate florist" It wasn't much of a shock, I guess it was just intuition.

"I can tell you're talentless"

Damn, forward. "You seemed to do that edgy monologue, brighten up" her lips curved, forming a small but gentle smile.

"If you like these, then maybe you'd like more that are in the school's garden?" I nodded and stood up, I held out my hand. She then grabbed it and pulled herself up. "

A year later we're still friends.

"Hajime! Are you even listening?" I sighed and nodded "well, again, don't go dozing off on me!" The bell rang, and in a panic, she gathered all of her stuff. "We'll continue this later, see you Hajime! Don't forget to text me!"

"Don't fall over during class again!" I shouted back. I looked back to gather my items, but I realized she forgot her homework. I let out a sigh and ran to the Hopes Peak building. I let out a huff as I knocked on the door. The class was still starting so it wasn't super awkward. "Hey [F/N], you forgot this earlier. I don't want Ms. Chisa scolding you" I laughed nervously. Everyone was staring at [F/N] strangely, how come? She giggled "sorry about that, I was in a rush! See you Hajime!"

I smiled as I walked to the door, but Ms. Chisa pulled me aside with a sly grin. "I'm rooting for you two! You know that's the first time we've ever seen her laugh like that!" I turned red and left without another word.

I stared at my ceiling, confused. Love... do I love her?... I mean... she's always been so kind to me, no matter what I do, sure she's a bit rowdy but... it's kind of cute.

What are you saying Hinata?! She's your friend! That's it! But maybe?...

"Hello? Earth to Hinata?" I instantly snapped out of it "huh?- Yeah?" She sighed as we made our way toward the garden. She turned her head a little and her eyes lit up once seeing something, a memory. We both kneeled down to see the pretty lilacs. "I remember we met by these..." she smiled at the thought. "Yeah, we weren't aware of what we set ourselves up for..." I chuckled. "You know... these symbolize love... kinda weird for me..." I stared at her, wide-eyed. "You know you're so dumb, you really couldn't have realized it by now..." she looked away.

I chuckled, finally figuring it out "hey don't laugh! I'm trying my best here!" She pouted. "Sorry, it's just... I love you too, that's all!"

Wow, it's been two years since I've written something like this, although, I know for sure I'm not gonna write this as a request book. However, I will bless you all with some more one-shots if you so desire. Life has been pretty tough for me. To keep it short, hospital, school, friends, and a lot more.
