I was chatting with my best friend, Shuichi Saihara. We were good friends, despite everyone assuming we were a couple, I had feelings for him but I never told him because we had a strong friendship. We always had something to talk about and today it was Kokichi Ouma.
"Today Ouma pulled a prank on the teacher and it was pretty funny, and anyone who laughed got detention, I managed to keep a straight face so here I am!" he gave me a small smile "anyway, what's been happening in your class?" he went silent for a moment "nothing really. It's just everyone being really quiet and doing their work."
We kept on talking until "L/N-chan/Kun!" It was Ouma. "Hey, Ouma!" I smiled at him, Saihara stared at me and Ouma while we kept on talking. "Anywayyyy...I wanted to ask if you wanted to help me set up my next prank!" I nodded and smiled "So who are we gonna prank?" he looked at Momota "this is gonna be fun..." me and Ouma discussed our plan while Saihara was staring at us, he looked troubled...
~Four days later~
"Hey, Saihara is something wrong?" he shook his head "Are you sure?" he nodded. I started chatting with Ouma some more. Every time Ouma called me by my nickname, Saihara looked bothered. Ouma went on and on about the pranks we were gonna pull. "L/N! Let's go to the ice cream shop! I'll pay!" I had a blank expression "that was a lie wasn't it?" he laughed and grabbed my arm "you caught me! Anyway, consider this a date!" I smiled "sure."
We walked down the hallway, but Saihara stopped me "L/N, can I talk to you?" I was confused but I went with him anyway. "What do you need Saihara?" he looked down and took off his hat "I-I... don't want you to go with Ouma..." I was super confused "why?" he grabbed my hand "because... I like you a lot... and the thought of you being with Ouma...hurts me" I pat his head and gave him a kind smile "Shuichi... I like you too, and you got the wrong idea! Me and Ouma are just friends! Nothing else!".
"Sorry Y/N" he gave me an apologetic smile "it's fine!" I gave him a big hug

"Mission accomplished" Ouma smiled "thanks for helping me out!" Momota sighed "well, I guess me being pranked was kinda worth it
