Chapter 25

Jen's P. O. V

The chat ended.

In fifteen minutes we need to meet up, In the big tree that stands in the middle.

Does ate Vixen already pin point something? Does she already have a plans? Knowing her, she probably has a plans in the first place.

I know she's also thinking if this game is really just about killing each other.

"So, what's the plan?"

Ate Maple asked me and I just stared at her. I also don't know what to plan so instead of saying no I'll just keep quiet.

It's just a waste if I'll answer her.

She sighed, she look problematic.

"Alam mo, nagmana ka talaga sa kuya mo," she said and I just nodded.

She was about to say something but I didn't get stunned when she immediately ran towards me and she grabbed my waist and we hide in the trees when a one player came.

I stared at the player blankly.

I didn't hesitate to summon a Russian SVD sniper since the target isn't far that much. I pointed it to the player. I was focusing and about to pull the trigger but ate Maple grabbed the sniper away from my hands.

"Don't. Not yet. I have a plan."

She said and I tilted my head. "My sniper, ate," I said while looking at the sniper and she rolled her eyes.

She gave back my sniper.

"I have a plan," she repeated her words.

"You have a plan, it's just a single player," I said and she shook her head.

"Yup, we can only see one player but what if that player is a bait? We don't know the other's are just waiting," she have a point in what she mumbled.

"Okay," I replied shortly. I once pointed my sniper at the target and I look at the scope to look at the surroundings.

I looked at the trees, bushes, sky, there's no one in there.

Ibinaba ko na ang sniper 'tsaka tinitigan ko si ate Maple, "she's alone," I said pertaining the single player.

"Oh, she is? But stay here. I'm the one who gonna fight her. Stay here and back me up if something happens," I nodded in what she says.

Do I have a choice?

My forehead creased when she uses  a sword not a bat. I just shrugged that idea out of my mind.

Maybe she wanted to try something new.

I started climbing the tree as ate Maple started walking in the bushes.

I sat at the one of the branches. Because the tree has a lot of branches and leaves the opponent can't see me that easily.

I tied my hair into band and I fix the few hair strands in my head.

This is not hard, I'm used to this.

I place my sniper and I look at the scope to eye them.

"Jen, don't lower your guard. Hindi ko gusto ang nararamdaman ko ngayon."

Ate Maple's voice was in my mind and I know she's using the special skill, communication. It's very helpful.

"Communication," I also does the same.

I adjusted my sniper's scope and I saw that ate Maple was just five meters away from the opponent.

I was confused a bit because knowing ate Maple's playing style, she's always surprising the opponent but it's different now. She's being cautious.
