Ava's POV

Since today was a boring day apart from my morning beat rituals I'm glad I called rose this morning to meet me for lunch.

It was now lunch time and I'm very excited to meet rose and rora, I hope she enjoys the session today.

I spotted rose by the entrance waiting for me impatiently cause I was late

"finally the queen decided to honour me with her presence"

"a queen is never late everyone is early" I said as I flipped my hair off my shoulder "any way, sorry boo"

"fine, let's go I'm starving" she rolled her eyes

After a lot of arguments, we settled on pizza after taking our food we sat and started eating as I told her about Aurora and how happy I am that she finally asked for help

After a while Mark joined us and we gossiped about everything happened since we met last week

He started kissing her and that was my queue to leave

"ewwww, stop being PDA in front of me" I fake gagged

"aww someone is jealous babe" mark said

"whateverrr" I rolled my eyes, "I better get going before I get late, bye guys"

I left smiling appreciating their presence in my life I wouldn't make it without them and their help and support

I took a quick glance at the clock noticing it was now 2:20 which means that I've been stuck with the paper work for 20 minutes and 10 minutes left for rora's arrival

"Heey v!" rora startled me

"oh, hi rora you're 5 minutes early"

"I'm hurt didn't you want to see me?"

"no of course not it's just there is another patient with dr Henry at the moment"

"that's fine I can wait with you till it's my turn if that's possible"

"yeah sure"

We catched up a bit till I saw John getting out shaking hands with Dr Henry and waved to me as I stood up and waved back

"let's go rora it's your turn are you ready? "I smiled at her

"yeah I guess" she held Matteo's hands and followed me inside as I introduced her to Henry

"Okay Aurora if you feel comfortable your brother will wait for you outside with Ava" Henry told her she nodded hesitantly

"if you need me just call I'll be by the door" Matteo said as she smiled to him the we both got out

"don't worry he's really good at what he's doing"

He sat on the chair in front of my desk silently watching my every movement

Now 50 minutes passed with him looking at the door waiting for her to come out

"that's a very good sign she didn't call you and now the session is nearly over just relax 5-10 more minutes and she will come out" I told him even though he masks his emotions very well I could see he's tense, studying psychology really pays off I mentally smirked

But what he said made me freeze in my place

"what's that on your hand?" he asked sternly with no emotion

I looked down at what he was looking at noticing the clearly visible bruise on my forearm how lucky I am today first I spilled the water while eating lunch then didn't notice that the foundation was removed and finally the sleeve rolled up while I was busy thinking in the work in front of me and the scariest person I know after Fredric aka my father saw it. Wow it was supposed to be boring day what's with the sudden change in plans good job Ava!
