Summary: Harry and Louis are fighting and its making Harry physically ill. He doesn't say anything about it until the boys finds out when he gets sick in front of them.

This is a request from @Kayboy232, I hope you enjoy! And apologies for the long wait.

______

"Lou, where is this coming from?"

"It's just teenage life, Haz. We're not going to be on high school forever, and then who knows what that means for us? We'll start at separate colleges, and then it's work... we won't get to see each other. I think we should face those facts now."

Harry was nearly speechless. He couldn't figure out what had sparked this in Louis. They were just leaving the school, having finished classes for the day when Louis had pulled Harry aside asking if they could talk.

"Lou... I.." Harry frowned with glassy eyes, holding his books closer to his chest. "What even...?"

"I don't know." Louis sighed, upset but trying to convince himself that this is the right thing to do. He wanted to save them both the heartbreak of a long-distance separation. He looked down at his fingers, twisting the promise ring him and Harry wore. They'd had it for the past two years. "I just think we need to worry about the future."

"And that means... what? Breaking up?" Harry's voice cracked as it really started to hit him. "After everything we've been through? Now? I... why? I-I don't.."

Harry couldn't stand another second of the man he loved with all his heart, basically telling him they were over. He stood from the bleachers, ignoring Louis's pleas and walking towards Liam's car in the parking lot. The brown-eyed boy didn't say anything as Harry climbed in.

"Can you, uh— do you mind giving me me a ride home, Li?" Harry asked in a small voice, curling his books to his chest.

Liam blinked, seeing the boys down state. He grabbed Harry's hand and squeezed, starting the engine. No questions asked he spoke solemnly, "Of course, H."

______

Harry and Louis hadn't spoken in a few days.

Harry had been avoiding Louis in every shared class. Even at lunch, he made sure to squeeze between Liam and Niall. He couldn't handle another talk of Louis trying to explain
himself. He was giving up on them. Simple as that.

Except it wasn't. Harry was thinking about it almost every second of everyday no matter how hard he tried to focus on his work. Louis was always on his mind. It was getting to the point where he couldn't deny the sickening feeling in his stomach and the pang of headaches that now occurred daily, disturbing his focus in school. And of course, Liam saw it all. Liam knew him better than he probably knew himself.

Zayn and Niall obviously noticed the change, but they weren't quite sure how to handle it. Not seeing Harry and Louis latch into each other like parasites—It was sudden for them too. Liam did his best to coddle Harry, and Zayn—Louis. Niall just tried to keep the peace. Lessen the tension.

But the tension was high today. Harry hadn't slept last night and Liam was worried sick about the boy. Louis had laid back on trying to talk to Harry, and Zayn and Niall's attempt at lightening up the conversation with the whole table had failed.

Harry hadn't touched anything from his lunch. He'd stared at it long and hard for awhile before bile rose in his throat and he had to look away, pushing it to the middle. Liam made him drink sips of water all day during and between classes, but he was barely stomaching that.

"H, please. If you won't let me take you home,  then at least eat or drink something now." Liam pleaded under his breath, holding out a water bottle. But Harry didn't hear him.

His head was spinning and his stomach churning. It was a second too late that he shoved himself up from the table, out of the cafeteria and down the hall to the bathroom, his hand covering his mouth.

Liam ran right after him and the boys a second after.

"What the hell?"

"Is he alright?"

Liam ignored the voices of his friends behind him and pushed through the bathroom door, down to the stall where Harry hunched over just in time to spill his stomach.

His neck flushed with heat and embarrassment from both the sickness and having heard multiple pairs of footsteps clang in after him, filling the stall. Harry let out a whine of distress, hoping to shoo them all away before his stomach expelled once more.

Liam cringed at the sight and turned away towards the boys. He pushed them out of the stall. "Lads, let's give him some air, yeah?"

Louis shoved slightly against Liam, peering over his shoulder to watch as Harry ran a hand over his sweaty forehead and huffed heavily. His worry grew. He'd noticed his lover was acting out due to the situation.. but he didn't know it was to this extent.

"Maybe, uh," Liam started. "One of us should stay and take Haz home. We don't all need to bombard him right now." He suggested.

In Louis's mind, he'd hoped Harry would choose him to take care of him as he'd done so many times before, but the chances were low. They'd barely spoken in days.

Liam expected Harry to choose him, but as the sick boy uttered another name, he couldn't say he was surprised.

"Lou? Please."

Louis's heart soared at those words. Zayn, Niall, and Liam turned to look at him. They all gave him small smiles and a pat on the shoulder before wishing Harry well.

When they were left alone, Louis slowly crouched by the boy on the floor and leaned to brush Harry's hair back from his forehead. He reached for toilet paper and gently wiped Harry's mouth. He helped the boy clean up without saying a word. All the while, Harry stared.

"Haz?" Louis's voice echoed.

He hummed, blinking up at Louis.

"Are you alright to stand up, love?"

He took a deep breath and nodded, using the pole and Louis to rise onto his feet. The two walked down and out to Louis's car, settled in, and made their way to Harry's house.

Louis helped the boy get comfy in his bed, peeling off his shoes and changing into cool pajamas after rinsing his mouth. He then proceeded to get a cool rag and place it over the boys forehead.

As Harry drifted off, he continued to look at  Louis, watching the boys every move.

"You're staring." Louis whispered, his hands pausing from tucking in the sheets.

"Sorry." Harry mumbled.

They fell into an awkward silence. That was, before Louis cleared his throat, "I-uh, I should let you get some rest."

Harry grasped Louis's hand as he moved to stand.

"Stay."
